So far, we have taken a look at the running backs and linebackers in the class – and now we will check out some of the offensive linemen who figure to make an impact this coming season.
From the Florida Panhandle to south Florida, there ae quality “big men” who are grabbing the spotlight – with their size, athleticism and skill, and we have some of them for you to check out.
There is no doubt that you will be seeing plenty of these young men in 2022:
When you think offensive lineman in the state of Florida, one name stands out – and for good reason.
The top prospect in the state is Francis Mauigoa Francis Mauigoa 6'5" | 330 lbs | LS Bradenton IMG Academy | 2023 State FL (6-5, 330), who is playing for Bradenton IMG Academy. This is a big, strong and agile football prospect. Much in the mold of former IMG Academy and Alabama star Evan Neal, who was selected in the first round of this year’s NFL Draft.
Mauigoa recently committed to attend the University of Miami with head coach Mario Cristobal and offensive line coach Alex Mirabel.
In addition to Mauigoa, the state also boasts prospects such as Florida State University commit Lucas Simmons Lucas Simmons 6'7" | 300 lbs | OL Clearwater Academy International | 2023 State FL (OT, 6-7, 300, Clearwater Academy International), Roderick Kearney Roderick Kearney 6'4" | 300 lbs | OL Orange Park | 2023 State FL (6-4, 300, Orange Park), two-year IMG Academy starter and former Port St. Lucie Centennial standout Knijeah Harris Knijeah Harris 6'3" | 335 lbs | OL Bradenton IMG Academy | 2023 State FL , a 6-3, 335-pound guard, who is headed to the University of Florida.
Also, University of Florida commit Bryce Lovett Bryce Lovett 6'5" | 330 lbs | OL Rockledge | 2023 State FL (6-6, 330, Rockledge), highly-recruited Tommy Kinsler Tommy Kinsler 6'6" | 300 lbs | OL Ocala Trinity Catholic | 2023 State FL (6-6, 330, Ocala Trinity Catholic) and Michigan State commit Clay Wedin Clay Wedin 6'6" | 295 lbs | OL Tampa Carrollwood Day | 2023 State FL (OT, 6-5, 310, Tampa Carrollwood Day) are all prospects to keep an eye on this year.

You can debate it all you want, but when it comes to the offensive line, Hollywood Chaminade-Madonna has the best you will find anywhere in the state.
