Chase Bisontis Chase Bisontis 6'5" | 290 lbs | OL Don Bosco Prep | 2023 State NJ OL, Don Bosco
Committment: Texas A&M
Arguably one of the biggest recruiting dominos to fall. Bisontis choose the Texas A&M Aggies over schools such as Ohio State, Michigan State, and LSU. The Aggies get the top OL prospect in the 2023 class adding him to a team that desperately needed OL help. Bisontis is PRZs second-ranked overall player and will bolster Aggie’s offensive line, with his uncanny athleticism and elite measurables.
Coach Jimbo Fisher has been aggressive in recruiting in the last two seasons and has not been shy about using all available resources to land top recruits. The Aggies are looking to gain competitive advantages in the SEC in recruiting.
Jason Howell Senior Recruiting Analyst of TexAgs had this to say about the commitment:
” Bisontis is an absolutely huge addition for Texas A&M. Offensive line is a top priority for the Aggies in 2023 and Bisontis is one of the nation’s best. He is a big, nasty, and athletic presence in the trenches, and he plays with a hard-nosed mentality. He is an echo of the whistle kind of guy and he is noted for his strong work ethic. Overall he brings a tremendous skillset and mentality, along with a high upside to the field, and he is a major recruiting win for OL coach Steve Addazio and the Aggies.”
Nasir Addison Nasir Addison 6'3" | 185 lbs | ATH Irvington | 2023 State NJ ATH, Irvington
Commitment: Kentucky
This was an interesting commitment. Originally committed to Maryland, Addison decommits out of the ACC and into the SEC going to play for Mark Stoops. Addison is the 4th Ranked player in the PRZ rankings and the most versatile player in the class. With the ability to play both cornerback and wide receiver at a high level. He goes to Kentucky as a cornerback and will look to make an immediate impact. A physical cornerback who can stay in phase with most wide receivers and has good hips. Has great ball skills and is a terror at the catch point. Addison is a great get for the Wildcats and it will be interesting to see how he develops in this program.
Justin Rowland Of Kentucky Rivals talked about what this commitment means:
” Kentucky really seems to be loading up on east coast guys the last couple of classes and they love Addison as a defensive back because of his length, footwork, and love of the game. He has elite wingspan and corner was a big priority for UK this year.“
Famah Toure Famah Toure 6'4" | 200 lbs | WR Irvington | 2023 State NJ WR, Irvington
Commitment: Rutgers
Toure keeps it in the family and commits to Rutgers as he follows in his brother’s footsteps. Toure is an interesting prospect standing at 6’5 with great athleticism he goes to Rutgers as an outside wide receiver. An interesting point is at Irvington he really isn’t utilized like a wide receiver more like a gadget player, so it will be interesting to see how he adjusts to full-time life on the outside.
Richard Schnyderite Of Rutgers Rivals offered this interesting take:
“Famah is a very good get for Rutgers who has struggled a bit with NJ recruiting in the 2023 class. He’s a very talented athlete who will join Rutgers as an outside receiver first, however, if he packs on a few pounds he could become the dominant hybrid type of receiver / tight end that every program wants nowadays. He has a good combination of speed and athleticism that could make him a legit threat for the next few seasons.”
