Jakeyse Gravedees Jakeyse Gravedees 6'0" | 165 lbs | ATH Indian River | 2025 VA | 6’ 165 lbs | Athlete | Indian River High School
Graves is the 2nd ranked overall prospect in the state and the number one ranked player listed as an Athlete. He was named 2nd Team All Region as a Freshmen Defensive Back last season and currently has 12 D1 offers from the likes of South Carolina, Bowling Green, Ole Miss, Temple, Syracuse, Boston College, Buffalo, Virginia Tech, Duke, Campbell, Jackson St, and the University of Maryland. Indian River HS finished 6-4 and made it to the 2nd round of the State Playoffs. Graves and the Braves look to improve this year, and make a stronger push in the post season.
Jaylen Gilchristfdbd Jaylen Gilchristfdbd 6'4" | 290 lbs | OL Salem-VB | 2025 VA | 6’5’’ 285 lbs | Offensive Line | Salem -Virginia Beach High School
Gilchrist is the 5th ranked overall prospect and the top ranked Offensive Lineman in the state. The Sundevils’ lineman was part of a rushing attack that led the team to an 8-3 finish and a 2nd round playoff appearance. He currently holds 15 offers from Texas A&M, Old Dominion, Florida State, Liberty, Penn State, Jackson State, Georgia, Coastal Carolina, Duke, Syracuse, North Carolina, Maryland, South Carolina, Virginia Tech, and Ole Miss.
Terrance Edwardsed Terrance Edwardsed 6'1" | 170 lbs | ATH Trinity Episcopal | 2025 VA | 6’1’’ 170 lbs | Athlete | Trinity Episcopal
Edwards is the 2nd ranked Athlete in the state and the 6th ranked overall prospect. The Trinity Episcopal rising sophomore holds 7 offers from Marshall, Campbell, Indiana, Akron, Maryland, Colorado, West Virginia, Syracuse, and Missouri. He has been on a hot streak this past spring and summer, having earned four of the offers over the last 2 month at the respective school’s camps. The Titans finished 8-3 and won the VISAA title besting Benedictine 22-21 in overtime. Edwards will be a huge part of Trinity’s quest to repeat in 2022.
Jack Callaghan Jack Callaghan 6'3" | 200 lbs | QB Collegiate | 2025 State VA | 6’3’’ 200 lbs | Quarterback | Collegiate School
Callaghan is the 11th overall player in the state and the 2nd ranked Quarterback in the state of Virginia. He has the prototypical size and a big arm that college coaches look for. I believe that his recruiting will pick up over the summer as he attends different college camps. The Cougars finished right at .500 last fall and Callaghan will be a key part of the program getting over the hump.
Daron Thompson Daron Thompson 6'2" | 250 lbs | OL Huguenot | 2025 State VA | 6’2’’ 275 lbs | Offensive Line | Life Christian Academy
Thompson is the 12th ranked overall player in the state and the 2nd ranked Offensive Line. The Life Christian lineman recently won the Offensive Lineman MVP award at a “linemen only” camp, The Hog Academy. Thompson was a noticeable force and looked impressive competing on both sides of the ball against many of the area’s top upperclassmen. Life Christian didn’t have a winning record last year, but they play one of the most competitive schedules in the country.
