Jamonta Waller Jamonta Waller 6'2" | 230 lbs | DL Picayune | 2024 State MS , DE/OLB, 6-2 215, Picayune, 2024
Jamonta was very impressive today. He was moving through drills showing everybody how good he can get around on the field. He was also showing great hands today. Jamonta has a very fast first step. If the lineman he is facing makes the first drop step too slow he will get flew by. He also showed that he is in good shape today. He didn’t hold his head down and he didn’t shy away from competing. He listens to coaching and learns from his mistakes. I like how he sets linemen up for the move he decides to go with. He gets down to a nice defensive line stands and does not take long making his move to get to the QB.
DeQuarious White DeQuarious White 6'4" | 320 lbs | OL Holmes County | 2023 State MS , 6-4 320, OL, Holmes Co, 2023
Dequarious stands like a brick wall on the offensive line. He was the offensive line MVP today. He has no intentions on getting beat. He is a lineman that doesn’t mind getting down and dirty with strong or quick defenders. He has a nice posture when he drops back. He doesn’t get too far on his heels allowing himself to not be able to move swiftly. He knows how to pass block. Today he moved through drills great for his size as well. I really like the way this kid moves side to side with ease. He doesn’t allow his arms to get swiped down. He is the last guy I would want falling on me after I lost my footing. This kid can play and is expected to raise his recruiting attention up this season. He is an aggressive guy and not the one to get mad with. He becomes very physical in a finesse kind of way. Meaning he can wear you down on a Friday night and not break a sweat.
Jaydon Porter, 6-0 305, OL, Terry, 2024
Jaydon Porter holds his own every time it is time for him to get in action. He is guy that plays the center for Terry. He is pretty quick on his feet and moves them well. He is a great general on the line with a nice IQ. He has food strength and keeps a nice posture while blocking. He isn’t a guy that is going to budge easily. At 300 plus he has good strength along with quickness.
Joseph Head Joseph Head 6'4" | 205 lbs | DL Holmes County | 2023 State MS , 6-4 205, DE, Holmes Co, 2023
Head is just a beast all the way around. This kid moves through drills like he is walking on clouds. Very smooth and cool as he destroys your offensive lineman with either his strength or finesse skills. Yesterday he was quick with the one two move he does. He was showing off his strength as well yesterday. I’m sure at every camp he attends he will stand out. Just hard not to mention him in a standout article when he clearly stood out.
