Continue ReadingThe young bucks have been working their tails off since they entered the high school ranks and the time has come to launch our first rankings update for the Class of 25′. With this being the first rankings list, changing from only a watch list to a rankings and watch list, we’re going to show love to as many of these young men as possible. In this article series, we’re going to dive into new young men that were added to our database and you should keep a close eye on. Without further ado, let’s dive into Part 5 of our 25′ Rankings New Additions.
Jordan Butler Jordan Butler 5'11" | RB Roberto Clemente | 2025 IL
Mr. Butler is a halfback that showcases glimpses of being able to break long runs once he clears the line of scrimmage and gets into open space. Whether this is on inside the tackle runs or when he secures the swing route, both of which showcase his foot quicks when he gets vertical quickly to get into the endzone for six. Now, if he isn’t able to break a long run he is able to gain 4-5 yards consistently in his highlights and is used in goal-line situations to lower his shoulder to get in for six. This young man has, in my eyes, a ton of potential just waiting to come out. Time will tell how much comes to the surface based on how much he hones his craft and develops further.
Chase Rivera Chase Rivera 5'11" | 195 lbs | RB Peotone | 2025 IL Twitter
Mr. Rivera isn’t the biggest back in the world but don’t let that fool you. This young man is a hard runner that can break weak grab tackles and will fight for every yard when the ball is in his hands. Whether he’s running counter or power, once he gets into open space he’s off to the races utilizing his foot quicks to either break a long run for a big gain or get into the endzone for six. What I’m interested to see more of is his body control as he flashes glimpses of being able to stay up and in bounds after defenders try to bring him down. This wingback is one to keep an eye on heading into this upcoming season as he’s going to be in a backfield with Standouts Dawson Piperzz Dawson Piperzz 5'10" | 200 lbs | ATH Peotone | 2023 IL and Dylan Sroka Dylan Sroka 5'9" | 165 lbs | RB Peotone | 2023 IL , all threats in their run-heavy offensive attack. One more thing, he also flashes glimpses of his hands in the air attack as well – another avenue where he could pose a threat.
Ben Princis Ben Princis 5'9" | 180 lbs | QB Glenbard North | 2025 IL Twitter
Mr. Princis is one you need to have a QB spy on 24/7 or else he’ll gash your defense. His mobility and foot quicks come in handy when he runs the option as well as when he has to make something out of nothing once he gets flushed out of the pocket. This helps him get out of sticky situations as pressure is closing on him. In one clip, he’s able to escape the edge rush coming right at him by spinning left toward the sideline before he pulls the ball down breaking a long run for a touchdown. Not to mention he works on the move a majority of the time and when doing so it poses the threat further of him scrambling which can suck up the underneath defenders leaving a hole in the defense. I’m very interested to see how his arm strength and arm talent develop over these next few seasons.
Colin Livatino Colin Livatino 5'10" | 180 lbs | QB Evanston Township | 2025 IL Twitter
Mr. Livatino showcases his arm talent by not only being able to drive the ball on deep shots downfield but also putting the ball right into the receiver’s basket in tight windows (right between two defenders). What’s impressive is his ability to add touch on level 2 throws as he showcases glimpses of hitting the tight window between the linebackers and safety in the middle of the field. He also flashes the ability to stand strong to get the ball off under pressure to keep the chains moving. Overall, a young quarterback that has an upside to his arm talent making various types of throws both in platform and on the move.
Caylo Reitman Caylo Reitman 5'11" | 155 lbs | WR Saint Charles East | 2025 IL Twitter
Mr. Reitman is a young man that I was able to see in action live during our recent PRZ IL Showcase. He showcases glimpses of being able to track the ball on deep shots downfield and being quick in/out of his breaks once he gets to the defender’s toes to break the defender off at the top of the route. One area that I’m interested in seeing more out of is his ability to work back to the ball on comeback routes along the sideline.
