I was blown away by how professionally ran and organize this league was and I am beyond excited that Legacy has created a league for the real studs of the gridiron. Linemen from teams all around Michigan joined this league with their High School teammates to battle 1v1 in a competition they showcase their pass pro skills vs pass rush skills.
Champions
DIVISION 1- DETROIT CATHOLIC CENTRAL
The Shamrocks of CC have been a Division 1 powerhouse in the state of Michigan since I can remember. The program has been built on the foundation of having straight up DAWGS in the trenches and on Sunday they proved that tradition in still running strong. The Shamrocks had a few Churchill Chargers sprinkled into their line up to help them hoist the hardware on the Sunday bringing a very successful spring league to a close. DCC offense was led by Zion Tinnon, a 2023 O-Line specialist who was putting on a clinic at guard the whole afternoon. Helping the offensive side of the ball was Livonia Churchill’s nasty Center, Caleb Lebar. Caleb was just recently offered by the Alma Scots and from what I saw on Sunday many more offers are about to start pouring in for the big fella. Defensively the Shamrocks were led by Edge Rusher, Stone Chaney. Stone, who’s only a sophomore, was damn near impossible to block coming off the edge by any tackle that was placed in front of him. Chaney’s skills are going to be lethal this fall, adding to an already stack defense for the Boys in Blue.
