Montez Jones, 5’11, 180 pounds, 2024, Lawrence North

Right-handed quarterback Montez Jones is one of the Hoosier State’s most exciting quarterback prospects. Jones is a dual-threat quarterback who has tremendous arm talent. Jones can extend plays and find receivers down the field. While on the move, Jones does a terrific job of keeping his eyes up and finding a receiver. Jones has solid speed and playmaking ability, making him a very credibly running threat. He takes care of the football, throwing only six interceptions last year. As a sophomore, Jones completed 130/233 pass attempts. Jones tossed 12 touchdowns a season ago. Jones carried 76 times for 617 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns.
Bryson Luter, 6’0, 160 pounds, 2024, Lawrence Central

Bryson Luter is another rising junior-to-be, who sees the field well and knows how to keep the offense moving. Luter makes good decisions with the football, rarely forcing the ball into tight coverage unnecessarily. Luter has good running ability, as well. When combining his aforementioned decision-making with that quickness, defending the read-option is a difficult proposition for opposing defenders. He can extend plays and evade the rush while keeping his eyes down the field. Luter completed 131/256 passes for 1,478 yards. He added 11 touchdown passes with seven interceptions. Luter piled up 436 yards on the ground with eight rushing touchdowns.

Heath Kizer Heath Kizer 6'1" | 180 lbs | QB North Central | 2024 IN played in seven games as a sophomore. In those seven appearances, he set himself up well for what could be a big-time junior season. In 2021, Kizer completed 78/152 attempts for 970 yards. Kizer threw eight touchdown passes and seven interceptions last season. Heading into his upperclassmen years, Heath Kizer Heath Kizer 6'1" | 180 lbs | QB North Central | 2024 IN has a ton of potential. Without a doubt, Kizer will be a prospect to keep a close eye on heading into the 2022 season.

Jayden Whitaker Jayden Whitaker 6'2" | 170 lbs | QB Brownsburg | 2023 State IN has the ability to test the opposing secondary on every snap. Whitaker throws a great deep ball. He has terrific accuracy and does not throw costly interceptions. Whitaker has the ability to use his legs effectively, as well. Whitaker makes the right choice on the read-option. When he keeps the ball, he is capable of picking up chunk yards. Whitaker is a pocket-passer with very good mobility. Coming off of a year where he threw for over 1,500 yards, it is very difficult not to be excited about the senior year that lies ahead for Jayden Whitaker Jayden Whitaker 6'2" | 170 lbs | QB Brownsburg | 2023 State IN .
Mason Reynolds Mason Reynolds 6'1" | 190 lbs | QB Avon | 2024 State IN , 6’2, 200 pounds, 2024, Avon
Right-handed pocket-passer Mason Reynolds Mason Reynolds 6'1" | 190 lbs | QB Avon | 2024 State IN has established himself as the leader of the Avon offense. Reynolds has great mechanics. He has a quick throwing motion, and it pays off with the way that he throws the ball. Reynolds puts plenty of zip on the ball, and he delivers the ball on-target and on-time. Reynolds makes good reads and does not put the ball in harm’s way. Last season, Reynolds threw for 169/304 for 2,292 passing yards. He tossed an astounding 22 touchdown passes with just 10 interceptions. Reynolds added on a pair of rushing touchdowns as a sophomore.
Luke Minns, 6’0, 170 pounds, 2023, Fishers

Luke Minns engineers the Fishers offense, but he also contributes on special teams. As a junior, Minns completed 129/203 passes for 1,569 passing yards. Minns threw a baker’s dozen of touchdown passes and nine interceptions. Minns added one rushing touchdown in 2021. On special teams, Minns handles a lot of the team’s kickoff duties, and he has also accrued some punting experience. A year ago, he kicked off 14 times for a net total of 732 yards with a pair of touchbacks. He punted four times for 176 net punt yards.

Nolan Buckman Nolan Buckman 6'0" | 185 lbs | ATH Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory | 2023 State IN is a quarterback who can make all the throws and do so at a high level. When throwing the deep ball, Buckman puts great touch on his throws, dropping the ball in right over the shoulder. He allows the receiver to run underneath the ball while not overthrowing his intended target. On throws to the outside, Buckman places the ball near the sideline, and he drives the ball. A missed or underthrown ball good be problematic for the offense, but Buckman can put the ball right on the money. Last year, Buckman recorded 224 passes on 397 attempts for 3,311 yards. He threw an otherworldly 41 touchdown passes and 15 interceptions. Buckman ran for 158 yards and two additional scores. He can also contribute on the defensive side of the ball. In 2021, Buckman posted 27 tackles with two tackles-for-loss and two passes defensed.

Tony Flatt Tony Flatt 6'1" | 190 lbs | ATH Covenant Christian | 2023 State IN is a top-tier quarterback who can bring his contributions over to the defensive side of the ball as a linebacker. The dual-threat signal-caller has a knack for keeping plays alive while continuing to survey the scene down the field. The right-hander executes the read-option very well, and his running ability keeps defenders on their toes. Last year, Flatt found his target on 136/231 passes for an impressive 30 touchdown passes with just eight picks. He added 281 rushing yards and another five touchdowns. Defensively, Flatt came up with 14 total tackles. He also had three sacks, two tackles-for-loss, two quarterback hurries and four fumble recoveries.
