Jonathan Murff-Graham, Jr., DL, Camden Catholic
Having 11 sacks and 20 tackles for loss, “Murff” is one of the most disruptive players in NJ at any position. He’s equally effective at a 3 or 5 technique and is incredibly explosive. His combination of strength and speed makes him strong enough to collapse an offensive lineman, yet he’s quick enough to shoot into gaps. And the bag of pass rush moves is deep. Spins, rip and swim moves, hand swipes, bull rushes. Murff checks all the boxes. Multiple times in his film, you can find him trailing behind a pulling offensive lineman and tackle the RB before he can even get to the line of scrimmage. He brings that energy to every single down too, and I personally know some college is gonna get a relentless football player and a great teammate too.

Amare Smith Amare Smith 6'2" | 195 lbs | LB Salem | 2023 State NJ , Jr., LB, Salem
Amare was 3rd overall in the state in sacks…as a junior linebacker, so as you can imagine that caught my attention. He’s just too fast off the edge for 90% of blockers and being that he’s also a wide receiver, that makes sense. He was top 20 in the state in total tackles with 21 solos and had an interception and 5 fumble recoveries, so he was a general and all-around menace to offenses.
Amare has the unique skill of converting speed to power. At 6’2, 185 pounds he’s able to rush the outside shoulder of offensive tackles to get around them while maintaining outside leverage. Yet he can also take that speed and just bull rush would be blockers into the quarterback. Amare already has D1 offers from Temple and LIU. Looking forward to his senior season!

Alejandro Camarena, LB, Pascack Hills
Alejandro has what you’d call a high motor. His pursuit is absolutely relentless. On multiple plays on film I see him saving the touchdown, making tackles to the opposite side of the field dragging running backs down from flattening out on the backside of a run.
His tackling numbers are ridiculous. He was 7th in his class in total tackles last year with 66 solos, 6 sacks and a whopping 23 tackles for loss! Alejandro can play LB from the two point or with his hand in the dirt with equal effectiveness, but thing I love about his game is that he takes on blocks. Many young LBs try to avoid and shoot gaps for big plays but that’s risky. Alejandro plays through the blocker maintaining the integrity of the defense and still has huge numbers. Even when he’s not making the tackle, he’s making the play and as an old linebacker myself I appreciate his game.

Malik Moore-Summers Malik Moore-Summers 6'1" | 240 lbs | DL Cedar Creek | 2023 State NJ , Jr., DL, Cedar Creek
Malik is a truly relentless pass rusher that is honestly unblockable by most interior lineman. He just gets up the field that fast. He’s very strong at the point of attack and plays with great leverage, getting underneath lineman and getting off blocks with an array of rush moves. His pursuit is just as strong as his film shows him chasing ball carries 20 yards downfield or to the sideline on multiple occasions. Malik is also strong against the run, often fighting through double teams seal a gap or make the tackle himself. He had 57 total tackles on the season, including 17 TFLs and 9 sacks! That’s a lot of being in the backfield.
