Camp SZN: June 1-5 (Part 1- Offers Going Out)

It’s officially here. Colleges hosted prospects for combine-style camps and workouts for the first time in nine months last week. For better or worse, college coaches base a large part of their player evaluations on in-person camps, sometimes putting more emphasize on this testing than game film itself. Because of this, recruiting picks up in the summer more than any other time of year. We would love to show it in future articles!</i></b> The first weekend of the summer can be a big one as players are putting themselves on the radar of college coaches. Sometimes, coaches know a player and want to see him put up particular testing numbers before offering. As soon as he did, Brown’s recruitment picked up. He received a PWO from the Demon Deacons after a strong showing on Sunday.
