Continue ReadingWith spring football in full swing, programs are getting an early idea of what it is their team may look like come the fall. Players are getting an idea of what is working for them as far as their training and diets are concerned. At the same time, new and veteran coaches are figuring out what may or may not be working for them. Whether it is the drills they do, or the scrimmage games played coaches and players are fine tuning their games on the regular. In this series I will be covering as many schools as I can, from as many different classes as I can. We will start with the class 7A Bryant Hornets.
Jordan Walker Jordan Walker 6'1" | 205 lbs | QB Bryant | 2025 State AR
QB #13
Bryant High School
Jordan Walker Jordan Walker 6'1" | 205 lbs | QB Bryant | 2025 State AR has the size, and arm talent that really makes him dangerous to opposing teams. Whether he stands tall in the pocket or decides to use his legs to make a play, he is a player that has to be accounted for. Walker is 6’2″ 205lbs, and incredibly fun to watch in my opinion. His legs are dangerous, but he really only uses them when he has to. Jordan likes to let his big arm do the talking. With Jordan being in the class of 2025, the Bryant Hornets have got to be excited about this young man’s growth as a player.
Jordan Knox
WR #6
Bryant High School
Jordan Knox is electrifying to watch. This past season (2021) Jordan accounted for 18 catches for 350 yards and 3 touchdowns. Not to mention his 13 KOR for 377 yards, as well as his 5 PR for 97 yards. Knox has 4.4 (40 yd dash) speed, he stands at 5’10″ 170lbs, and has the ability to make big, explosive plays at the drop of a hat. Jordan looks to make himself a very serviceable weapon for the Bryant Hornets this coming season.
Malachi Graham Malachi Graham 5'11" | 180 lbs | DB Bryant | 2023 State AR
SS #1
Bryant High School
Malachi Graham Malachi Graham 5'11" | 180 lbs | DB Bryant | 2023 State AR is a ball hawk. With his 4.5 40-yard dash he can get to his destination with ease, it’s no problem at all for this young man to cover a lot of ground. Graham is 5’11″ 190lbs and plays much larger than that. He has great awareness, good instincts when the ball is in the air, and is a great tackler. Malachi makes good decisions and has good pre snap awareness which often times leads to his success. Graham plays the safety position as it should be played, and he definitely has the talent to build something special. Malachi and the Hornet defense are going to do their best to make some noise this upcoming season.
T.J. Lindsey
DE/OLB #99
Bryant High School
T.J. Lindsey is not the boogeyman but opposing offenses might say otherwise. This young man is coming for whoever it is that has the ball and there is little to nothing that other teams can do. Lindsey stands at 6’5″ 260lbs, but you wouldn’t know it by how quick this young man moves. T.J. is coming off of a successful season in 2021, making first team All-Conference. He is hard hitting, and a relentless rusher. I truly enjoyed watching his tape. The Hornet defense is ready to make some noise this upcoming season.
