The Future Stars Game started as an event to provide a student-athlete with an elite event in a college environment. It has quickly become a must-see event, if you want to know who the next greats are. Here is a look at the 2026 Wide Receivers, selected to play on the 8th grade Georgia Future Stars team.
Aaron Gregory Aaron Gregory 6'2" | 160 lbs | WR Douglas County | 2026 State GA
One of the most elite Wide Receivers in the country for the class of 2026. Stands 6-foot-2 and 150 pounds. An absolute difference maker that can beat Defensive Backs deep whenever he feels like it. Also great at 50/50 jumps balls. He will be a highly recruited player, as he gets set to head to Augusta Christian School for his freshman year.
Devin Carter
Carter is the son of NFL first round pick and Super Bowl Champion, Dexter Carter. At 5-foot-11 and 145 pounds, he’s going to be a nice weapon on the outside for the Georgia Future Stars. He’s a high-cut athlete with long legs and ever-improving speed. Can keep the defense on its heels with his ability to be involved in the screen game, or as a deep threat.
Djimon McLendon
A standout for Druid Hills in the DeKalb Middle School football league all regular season long, McLendon is a welcomed addition to the Georgia Future Stars. McLendon is a well-built Wide Receiver that looks like he could be a tremendous asset in the slot. He stands 5-foot-9 and 150 pounds and was timed at a 4.97 in the forty at the East Alanta tryout.
Kali Haggins
Before heading to Brooks County High School for his high school career, Haggins and his speed will be suiting up for the Georgia Future Stars. Haggins was clocked at a 4.78 in the forty yard dash at tryouts, good enough to be tied for the sixth fastest time among eighth graders. Haggins is a prospect I can see making a lot of plays in the slot and in the Special Teams game.
Joshua Washington Joshua Washington 5'11" | 175 lbs | WR Savannah County Day | 2026 State GA
Washington already holds an offer from Georgia Southern and he hasn’t even graduated eighth grade yet. At 5-foot-10 and 160 pounds he’s a special talent that will be at Savannah Country Day for his high school career. He’s a do-it-all type of wide out who has a knack for making the spectacular catch. His versatility and ability make him a player that virtually never has to come out of the game.
Lasiah Jackson Lasiah Jackson 6'3" | 160 lbs | WR Lee County Middle East | 2026 GA
Jackson doesn’t look like your average eighth grader–physically or athletically. At 6-foot-3 and 160 pounds, he’s the type of big play threat that keeps defensive coordinators up at night. It’s not too far of a stretch to compare his game to Randy Moss with his length and ability. He was the MVP of the Albany tryout and was clocked at 4.67 in the forty.
Nassir McCoy Nassir McCoy 6'0" | 175 lbs | DB Buford | 2026 State GA
It’s not a question of if, but rather, a question of when McCoy’s first offer will come. Listed at 6-foot and 170 pounds, McCoy is a prospect to be excited about as he gets set to enter high school. He’s already visited a plethora of P5 schools, such as Southern Cal and Arkansas. Honestly, I’m a little surprised not to see him a Defensive Back on this roster. But he’s an unquestioned stud.
Tytraveon King
On a Georgia Future Stars team that has unlimited size and weapons, King is the tallest of the Wide Receivers at 6-foot-3 and 151 pounds. He ran a 4.91 in the forty yard dash at the Albany tryout, which was second only to the 4.67 turned in by the above-mentioned Lasiah Jackson Lasiah Jackson 6'3" | 160 lbs | WR Lee County Middle East | 2026 GA . King should have an immediate impact on the varsity level next year at Crisp County.
Kason Fox – Was selected, but is injured and will not participate.
