Saturday was a vitally important day for New Mexico high school football prospects throughout the state. All three Division II programs in the state held on-campus events. New Mexico Highlands held Junior Day and a camp in Las Vegas. Cowboys head coach Ron Hudson offered four 2022 NM prospects at the conclusion of the camp, which you can read about HERE. There were also several 2023, 2024 and 2025 prospects at the camp. Among the best performers was 2025 Santa Fe OL [player_tooltip player_id="268298" first="Cruz" last="Graham"]. NMHU’s spring game is scheduled for Saturday. Simultaneously, Eastern New Mexico and Western New Mexico held their own events in Portales and Silver City, respectively. ENMU held a Junior Day with prospects meeting the coaches, touring the campus and seeing the facilities before watching ENMU scrimmage. The Greyhounds will conduct its annual spring game Friday night. WNMU held its annual spring game and then a Junior Day. A virtual Who’s Who of New Mexico prospects flocked to both campuses to get a better look at what the Greyhounds and Mustangs have to offer. Fun was had by all, we presume. Based on social media posts, here is where many individual prospects went: EASTERN NEW MEXICO: Adrian Anaya, DB Roswell [player_tooltip player_id="269608" first="Daylen" last="Chosa"], DL Bernalillo Amaleki Cox, WR/DB Clovis [player_tooltip player_id="138046" first="Brennan" last="Garcia"], OL/DL Lovington Braxton Masters, OL CLovis [player_tooltip player_id="208791" first="Jahvon" last="McChriston"], DE/OLB Bernalillo [player_tooltip player_id="138088" first="Javyn" last="Morales"], RB Goddard [player_tooltip player_id="138095" first="Ian" last="Ortiz"], DE Deming [player_tooltip player_id="137891" first="Adam" last="Pacheco"], QB Pojoaque Valley [player_tooltip player_id="138085" first="Dalton" last="Trapp"], TE/DE Ruidoso WESTERN NEW MEXICO: [player_tooltip player_id="137930" first="Isaiah" last="Abeyta"], WR Centennial [player_tooltip player_id="269517" first="Khalif" last="Arenas"], OL Centennial Steven Cobos, WR Gadsden [player_tooltip player_id="138056" first="Cole" last="Conway"], RB Albuquerque Academy [player_tooltip player_id="137928" first="Kellan" last="Gehres"], WR Albuquerque Academy [player_tooltip player_id="138201" first="Layton" last="Gillis"], RB/CB Hatch Valley [player_tooltip player_id="270023" first="Izaiah" last="Gonzalez"], OL/DL Centennial [player_tooltip player_id="138076" first="Tomas" last="Herrera"], QB Gadsden [player_tooltip player_id="233603" first="Celestino" last="Reyes"], DL La Cueva [player_tooltip player_id="137884" first="A.J." last="Rivera"], QB Albuquerque Academy Isaac Salgado, OL/DT Gadsden https://twitter.com/ENMUFootball/status/1518678304944836609 https://twitter.com/WNMUFootball/status/1518017746868400129 https://twitter.com/ScottNobleAD/status/1517887266529546241 https://twitter.com/CruzGraham52/status/1518030139577147392 https://twitter.com/GadsdenPanthers/status/1517984231791734785 https://twitter.com/JeffJefflynn1/status/1518610371287805952
