When the camp was over Cowboys head coach Ron Hudson offered four 2022 New Mexico prospects: Rio Rancho DE/OLB Fabiano Valdez Fabiano Valdez 6'0" | 220 lbs | DL Rio Rancho | 2022 State NM , Mayfield OL/DL Keith Franz Keith Franz 6'0" | OL Mayfield | 2022 State NM , Taos OL Ryan Garcia Ryan Garcia 5'10" | 270 lbs | OL Taos | 2022 State NM and Hobbs OL Gavin Brumley Gavin Brumley 6'4" | 315 lbs | DL Hobbs | 2022 State NM , one of the tallest O-Linemen in the state at 6-foot-5, 275 pounds. Brumley is also an elite wrestler and is competing in track & field this spring.
For Valdez, NMHU marked his second offer in as many days as Presentation College in Aberdeen, South Dakota offered on Friday.
Also participating in the camp were NMHU DL commit Kendal Ulmer Kendal Ulmer 6'0" | 250 lbs | DL Cleveland | 2022 State NM (Cleveland) and Santa Fe 2025 OL/DL Cruz Graham Cruz Graham 5'11" | 250 lbs | OL Santa Fe | 2025 State NM . He started for the Demons as a freshman last season.
Before the camp got underway, NMHU conducted one of their final practices before next Saturday’s spring game at Sanchez Family Stadium.
