These young men have shown that they have the arm strength, accuracy, IQ, speed, and skill to thrive at the position. Next, some of these athletes will be able to improve and accel at an even higher level. Without further notice, let’s dive in and take a look at some of the quarterbacks that are on track to having a great 2022 football season.
Bo Edmundson Bo Edmundson 6'3" | 185 lbs | QB Lake Travis | 2023 State TX – 6’3 185Ibs/QB/ Lake Travis High School
Analysis: Bo Edmundson Bo Edmundson 6'3" | 185 lbs | QB Lake Travis | 2023 State TX is a stud at the quarterback position. Edmundson was once named the Ford Texas Player of The Week as well last season. He has a powerful arm and does a good job being accurate throwing on the run. His deep ball accuracy is on par too which is crucial for the quarterback position. This young prospect will have college scouts and coaches at his door in no time. Next, he has tremendous pocket presence and takes licks left and right in order to be a game changer making big throws. Look for him to have a big season this year!
Seth Mouser Seth Mouser 6'6" | 200 lbs | QB Bastrop | 2023 State TX – 6’5 200Ibs/QB/ Bastrop High School
Analysis: Seth Mouser Seth Mouser 6'6" | 200 lbs | QB Bastrop | 2023 State TX is an underrated player that can accel in the future by far! He has a very solid build that is typical for an NFL quarterback. Mouser is a player that can sling the ball around like it is no tomorrow! He has the power and accuracy to throw crucial passes. He leads his receivers to their proper position by putting the ball where it is supposed to be. He has really good footwork as well. Even though he is not the fastest or quickest, his pro style play makes him a lethal weapon to all of his opponents! Watch out for him in the future, and look for him to obtain some offers as well!
William Hammond- 6’2 190Ibs/QB/ Hutto High School
Analysis: William Hammond is another athlete that has the potential to go far too! Hammond does a good job at finding open receivers. His release speed is superb and the fastest that I have seen so far! He can move on the dime and throw accurate passes on the move due to his keen footwork as well. Hammond has decent speed and can use his legs when needed. This young man has a solid build and frame, and has really good vision to scan the field and make plays. Look for him to have a great season in the fall.
Wilder Davenport- 6’0 175Ibs/QB/ Austin High School
Analysis: Wilder Davenport is a phenomenal quarterback. He has a beautiful arm and throws dimes consistently. He can throw back shoulder passes accurately as well. Davenport does a good job at scanning the field and finding open receivers. He also has really good footwork and has the skill to extend plays too. This young man is only a sophomore currently! He has a bright road ahead of him as well!
Brady Gephart- 5’10 165Ibs/QB/ Anderson High School
Analysis: Brady Gephart is a skillful quarterback that can be used as a weapon any moment. He can use his legs and speed to hurt the defense. Gephart also does a great job throwing on the run too, even though he is undersized. Next, he also has decent speed running a 4.8 40 yard dash. With more strength training and development, his arm will only improve. Just a sophomore, he has shown lots of potential to become a great player. Look for him to become a skillful quarterback the next two years!
