PA Community Film Room V.2: Cadden, Huber, Ayache
In this article:
Our first installment of the Community Film Room begins with numerous players out of Serra Catholic, as well as some out-of-state players who deserve some recognition. Tweet your film underneath my CFR thread each week to sue your spot. This series will be for athletes who I have not previously written on in the past.
TJ Cadden TJ Cadden 6'0" | 185 lbs | ATH Episcopal Academy | 2023 State PA | 6’0, 185 | WR/DB | Episcopal Academy | 2023
Produces all over the field for Episcopal Academy. Serves as EPA’s kick returner, where he can utilize his quick open-field decision-making to make defenders miss in space. He’s a late-shake player who is more than willing to eat tough tackles and continue forward. Multipurpose prospect on offense, often used in jet-sweep action that allows Cadden to replicate kick-return work in the open field, where he works best. Cadden also has good enough hands to make him a respectable threat when running routes for EPA. He’s got some solid catches on film, couple his pass-catching ability with his field vision and you have a serious weapon. Cadden also succeeds on the defensive side of the ball, making a lasting imprint on each facet of the game. He understands pursuit angles well from his OLB or S position. He’s athletic enough to cover big weapons and tight ends anywhere on the field. His reps on each side of the ball translate on the opposite side. Smart player who I love as an every-down hybrid safety who can play downhill, stop the run, and set the edge if needed. All of this while still being serviceable as a cover guy when matched up against bigger targets. Can’t wait to watch this kid live this Fall.

Gavin Rice Gavin Rice 5'9" | 175 lbs | LB Loyalsock Township | 2023 State PA | 5’9, 175 | LB | Loyalsock Township | 2023
Absolute flash as a blitzer. Gavin Rice Gavin Rice 5'9" | 175 lbs | LB Loyalsock Township | 2023 State PA is a full-effort, motor-running linebacker who can eat in the trenches or outside the tackles. When this kid picks a hole and shoots his gap, he looks like one of the best LBers in his class, just has to make this a more regular occurrence. When this kid’s instincts are on, you can get some game-changing TFLs and strips which LTHS feeds off of. Want Rice to trust his instincts, great things come when he does less thinking and more doing. Rice’s motor allows him to be a great clean-up, follow-up hitter. He’s an authoritative and opportune player who finishes tackles with some attitude and is more than capable of forcing a few fumbles. He’s an example of a hidden talent who reached out with his film, now with a shot of placing on our rankings.

Sammy Ayache Sammy Ayache 6'4" | 275 lbs | OL Bethlehem Catholic | 2024 State PA | 6’3, 265 | OL/DL | Bethlehem Catholic | 2024
Here’s an awesome and exciting young talent that is growing under an impressive OL coaching tree at Bethlehem Catholic. Many outstanding offensive linemen have come out of this program, can’t help but figure Sammy Ayache Sammy Ayache 6'4" | 275 lbs | OL Bethlehem Catholic | 2024 State PA is next in line. So patient and posied all throughout his pass protection reps. His film is certainly D1-potential, which I don’t say to many too often. While his feet and lower body are incredibly calm and poised, his upper body is full of power and grip strength. A ton of pancakes on tape caused by utilizing elite hand/punch placement and power. Ayache is advanced in many facets, often trusting his technique and hardly panicking early, something young OL tend to do. Highly developed stance, kick, punch. Solid frame on the kid, hardly any fat on the kid, which shows when he takes reps along the defensive line. Ayache can show off his athleticism when playing defensive line but the young man is too promising a left or right tackle that I’m sure defensive reps will begin to slow down. Can handle outside speed really well due to his elite hand and hat placement that can throttle opponents early in reps.

Blake Wise Blake Wise 6'1" | 155 lbs | QB Southern Columbia | 2024 State PA | 6’1, 155 | QB | Southern Columbia | 2024
A super intriguing prospect whose production I’m expecting to skyrocket at SC in due time. His weight may be low but like his early height at 6’1. Blake Wise Blake Wise 6'1" | 155 lbs | QB Southern Columbia | 2024 State PA certainly flashes the tools necessary to be one of Pennsylvania’s more prolific passers. This young man has absolutely no problem testing you deep. His downfield accuracy and overall depth perception coupled with his aggressive tendencies add up to a prospect who is ready to blow the doors off of some records. Love Wise’s willingness to step into the pocket and keep his eyes downfield despite pressure all around him. I want to see that interception number go down but it often comes with the territory with a QB that likes to attack vertically. SC’s offense will more than likely keep Wise under center, as almost every rep had Wise in this position. This demands a real drop back and real work to be done on a drop back. It’s beginning to show, as some rhythm and timing throws can be found on the tape. Also love his ability to throw off-platform. Off of back foot, or even relocating to a different launch point, Wise is capable of delivery a catchable ball. Excited to see this young man perform up close and personal.

Jayden Huber Jayden Huber 5'9" | 170 lbs | QB Northampton | 2024 PA | 5’9, 170 | QB/ATH | Northampton | 2024
Here’s a name who continues to come up from college coaches or in the 7v7 scene. Jayden Huber Jayden Huber 5'9" | 170 lbs | QB Northampton | 2024 PA out of Northampton, missed the majority of this sophomore season due to a concussion suffered early on. Film is lacking a bit but still love what I saw in limited reps. Not going to begin with his measurables, the young man plays above his measurables, a testament to his overall game. Special player on the move. Can be deemed a dual-threat QB who can certainly pick up yards when on the go, while also being able to target his weapons on the run as well. The young man is best in his own element. I’d love to see a full-season full of reps from the prospect, also would like to see him settle down in the pocket more often and really make defenses work. One thing’s for sure, this young man has natural-playmaking ability that shouldn’t be kept bottled up. Big Fall campaign coming up.
