With plenty of peach-state prospects already having impressive D1 offers, we’re seeing multiple prospects go ahead and make their college commitment. In Georgia, we recently saw prospects from the 2022, 2023, and 2024 class make a big decision on their future.
Here are a few prospects who made their college commitments recently…
Lebbeus Overton Lebbeus Overton 6'4" | 245 lbs | DL Milton | 2022 GA – EDGE – Milton
One of the top overall defenders in the peach state, the pass-rushing specialist out of Milton was arguably the top overall prospect in the entire 2023 class, but re-classified to the 2022 class earlier this year. He had to make a quick decision on his future, and the five-star defender committed to the Texas A&M Aggies over Georgia, Oregon, Oklahoma, and many others. The big 6-foot-5 260-pounds led the state in sacks as a sophomore, and made a giant impact last year while he battled through injuries at the beginning of the year. He has plenty of size, but he’s also quick off the ball and lived in the backfield throughout his Milton career. Overton made 70 tackles, 38 TFLs and 21.5 sacks as a sophomore in 2020, and last fall, he made 54 tackles and 7.5 sacks. It might take him a year or two to see the field in College Station, but he absolutely played like a 5-star during his Milton career over the last two season.

Benjamin Hall – North Cobb
Hall was one of the hottest running backs in the state, and he’s now committed to play for the Michigan Wolverines. Hall is coming off an impressive season for the North Cobb Warriors where he shared the load on the ground with four-star QB Malachi Singleton Malachi Singleton 6'2" | 210 lbs | QB North Cobb | 2023 State GA . On just 95 carries, Hall has rushed for 543 yards and eight touchdowns. He’s built well at 6-foot-0 220-pounds, but he’s also a smooth runner for a bigger back. He’s also caught 12 passes for 10 yards and two more touchdowns. He’s shifty, runs with balance, and has some power to his game as well. He also showed reliable hands out of the backfield in February’s Atlanta Under Armour Camp where he left with “Co-MVP” honors at running back. Look for Hall to take on a bigger role as a senior this fall, helping lead a fantastic rushing attack for the Warriors in 2023.

Luke Kromenhoek Luke Kromenhoek 6'4" | 185 lbs | QB Benedictine Military | 2024 State GA – QB – Benedictine
One of the top young QBs in the Savannah area, Kromenhoek is a natural passer with size and mobility. He looks like an upperclassmen at 6-foot-4 185-pounds and can be deadly when running the football. He’s a solid athlete who also stars on the baseball diamond, but it’s easy to see his potential at quarterback. He throws with touch, can push the ball down the field, and shows consistent accuracy on his passes. What impresses the most is his ability to take off and run with the ball. Even as a sophomore, thee Benedictine star showed plenty of speed and the ability to shred defenses with his legs. He has the size, promising arm talent, and has the ability to run, making him a promising prospect. It didn’t take him long to make a commitment, and he recently made his commitment to Florida State.
