Kendell Anderson Kendell Anderson 6'3" | 180 lbs | QB Blair | 2023 State MD (2023) | 6’3 QB | Blair
Anderson has been one of the county’s most talked-about players. He seems to be shooting up on people’s radar with a strong spring and strong performances in camps. Anderson has prototypical NFL size standing at 6’3. He can push the ball downfield with touch and accuracy. He also has the ability to extend plays with his feet. He is also a threat to run the football. Anderson is the heavy favorite to lead the county in passing this season.
Ashton Gaddis Ashton Gaddis 6'2" | 230 lbs | QB Poolesville | 2023 State MD (2023) | 6’2 QB | Poolesville
Gaddis is a quarterback that is asked to do a lot. He runs the ball a lot, and he is a very effective runner as he runs with a lot of power. In the passing game, he is quick and decisive on short and intermediate throws. He throws with good velocity to fit the ball in between defenders. He also has good touch on deep balls. Gaddis can do it all, expect Poolesville to open up the offense for him next season.
Patrick Doyle Patrick Doyle 6'3" | 215 lbs | QB Broadneck | 2024 State MD (2024) | 6’3 QB | Northwest
Doyle is a quarterback that has the ability to run any offense. He is a traditional pro-style quarterback. He is at his best when he is in the pocket. He has good zip on his throws when he needs to fit them into tight windows. When he is asked to throw the ball downfield he has great ball placement. He has fantastic pocket presence as he does a great job of avoiding rushers and keeping plays alive. Northwest has speed so expect Doyle to take advantage of that.
Elijah Frazier (2024) | 6’0 QB | Seneca Valley
Frazier is currently unranked but expect that to change as Frazier gets more opportunities to put himself on film. Despite lacking some size Frazier still has a strong arm. He shows good ball placement and touch when he is asked to throw the ball downfield. He also likes to make throws on the move and does a great job of leaving the pocket, extending plays, and hitting an open man. He is also a dangerous threat when running the football. Now that Bright has graduated expect Seneca to rely on Frazier more this upcoming season.
Savan Briggs (2023) | 6’2 QB | Quince Orchard
Briggs is exactly the type of quarterback college coaches looks for. Briggs is a winner, as he is coming off a state championship and he also does a great job of protecting the ball and limiting turnovers. He’s at his best in the play-action game. He does a great job of finding open receivers and getting them the ball. When he throws the ball he makes it look effortless. Briggs is someone that can run Quince Orchard’s offense to perfection.
Anthony Dixon (2024) | 5’9 QB | Richard Montgomery
Dixon is a quarterback with immense potential. He can make off-platform throws. He also has shown a willingness to throw the ball deep downfield. He has been effective with the deep ball as well. He is fearless and will take hits if needed. He also isn’t afraid to fit the ball in tight windows. However, this does get him in trouble as he can be turnover prone at times. If Dixon can improve his decision-making and take care of the ball he can be special.
