While living and training all over the state of Texas I have had the privilege of being able to see a plethora of talented student athletes up close. The maulers listed below are some of the few that have caught my eye so far.

TJ Shanahan - Westlake High School - Class of 2023

TJ is a stout prospect out of the reigning state champion Westlake High football program. He has violent hands, good patience and strains to finish his blocks. What impressed me about his game last fall was the power and pop at the point of attack that he possesses. He plays with the right mindset and tries to punish defenders. TJ comes from a football family, his older brother Micheal Shanahan is an offensive lineman for Texas Tech University.

[player_tooltip player_id="131963" first="Harris" last="Sewell"] - Permian High school - Class of 2023

Harris is an elite interior prospect with some pop in his hips and power in his punch.

At 6’4 300lbs he has a great frame and still has room to grow. His frame can easily hold 315 to 325 pounds without sacrificing any athleticism. He is well-coached and plays for one of the best OLine coaches in the country (Asst OL) Coach Derron Gatewood. I anticipate for him to double down this fall season and have a breakout summer on the camp circuit.

[player_tooltip player_id="262711" first="Jaydon" last="Chatman"] - Harker Heights High - Class of 2023

Jaydon is a big, physical, and nasty offensive linemen out of Harker Heights Texas. He has a great blend of athleticism patience and body control. He has the prototypical frame you look for in a high major offensive line recruit. I look forward to seeing him live and up close this summer on the camp circuit.

Barrett Eddlemon - La Vernia High School - Class of 2023

Barrett is a lean, smart, and mean linemen that uses leverage and power angles to his advantage. He earned a four star rating at tackle this past fall and has successfully made the transition to playing center. With his position versatility the sky is the limit with his potential. What most young linemen fail to realize is that on NFL Sunday there are only normally seven offensive linemen dressed on each team so if you are not a starter you have to be able to play all five positions.

Isaiah Zay Robinson - Arlington Lamar- Class of 2023

The 6’7 280 pound tackle has amassed over 30 offers and holds a 4.0 GPA.

He has done a great job developing his body and polishing up his technique.

His adductor strength and body control has noticeably improved. He had back-to-back MVP performances on the camp circuit and is set to go on a bevy of visits all over the country.
