Jr., Michael Poinsett Michael Poinsett 5'9" | 180 lbs | LB Bordentown | 2023 NJ , Bordentown
Mr. Poinsett dominated all year. He has good agility and ability to change directions at his size. Poinsett does a good job firing off the ball with power. He has strong hands to shed blockers to locate the ball carrier. Also, has a good understanding of gap control and leverage. He does well at filling gaps so his teammates can make tackles in the backfield. Poinsett has seen action since his freshman year and has improved every year. He finished his junior year with 4 sacks and 12 tackles. He is on pace to have a great senior season. As we get closer to the season make sure you keep your eyes on him.

Jr., Malik Moore- Summers, Cedar Creek
Mr. Moore-Summers wreaked havoc on opposing offenses. He has a good combination of size and speed which he used to his advantage all season. Moore- Summers has good strength and does a good job splitting the double team. He creates a lot of penetration and gives linebackers a free lane to the backfield. Moore- Summers recorded 9 sacks, 17 TFL, 59 tackles, 1 FF, 1 FR, 1 Fum/TD. He will be a key factor heading into next season. Moore- Summers is arguably one of the best defensive lineman in the state and he will live up to those expectations.

Jr., Ashton Blose , Delsea
Mr. Blose had a productive season in 2021. Blose is a big body that has the ability to chase down mobile quarterbacks. He has a high motor and is always around the football. Blose plays with strong hands and tenacity. He is rare to see him getting pushed around. Blose opposes his will any chance he can and does a good finishing tackles. He finished his junior season collecting 3 sacks and 24 tackles. Blose will be an important piece on the defense for this season. Expect to hear his name more often.

Jr., Mike Simeon Mike Simeon 6'0" | 225 lbs | DL Egg Harbor | 2024 NJ , Egg Harbor
Mr. Simeon had a 2021 season. Simeon has a good size and physical at the point of attack. He has good upper body strength to rip through blockers. Simeon gives 100% at all times that allow him to be in the right place at the right time. He finished last season with 7 tackles, 3.5 TFL, 2 sacks and 1 Fum/TD. Simeon does well at locating the ball and reacting quickly. He will be a key factor heading into next season. Make sure you keep your eyes on him.
