Nyckoles Harbor Nyckoles Harbor 6'6" | 220 lbs | DL Archbishop Carroll | 2023 State MD | 6’6’’ 220 lbs | Archbishop Carroll (DC)
If you haven’t heard, Harbor made national news for having an amazing track season. Not only is he a 6’6’’ 220 lbs athlete who is one of the fastest in the nation, he ran an Olympic level 10.29 in the 100 meters and 20.76 in the 200 meters. It is of no surprise that he tops our list for returners leading in sacks. He finished the season with 17 sacks, 66 hurries, 44 tackles, and 31 tackles for a loss. He has offers from almost every Power 5 program in the country and is already committed to the 2023 Under Armour All American Game.
Joseph Mupoyi Joseph Mupoyi 6'6" | 215 lbs | DL St. Thomas Moore | 2023 MD | 6’6’’ 227 lbs | Archbishop Carroll (DC)
Mupoyi, an All Met Honorable Mention Defensive End, is also a teammate of Harbor. It is almost unfair to have him coming off of the edge on one side and Harbor on the other. The Carroll edge rusher racked up 12 sacks, 37 hurries, 47 tackles, 27 tackles for a loss, a pass deflection, and a forced fumble. He currently holds offers from West Virginia, UConn, Michigan, Rutgers, Penn St, Michigan St, Virginia, Boston College, Ole Miss, Miami, and Maryland.
Awwal Osinuga Awwal Osinuga 6'1" | 215 lbs | LB St. Charles | 2023 State MD | 6’ 220 lbs | St. Charles High School
Osinuga was named All State Honorable Mention and 1st Team All SMAC Conference last season. He led St. Charles’ defense to 6-4 record, and to 6 games where they allowed 14 or less points. Osinuga contributed with 11 sacks, 71 tackles, 7 tackles for a loss, 2 forced fumbles, 2 fumble recoveries, and a blocked punt.
Micah Izzard | 6’ 230 lbs | Douglass (PG) High School
Izzard was the anchor to a defense that led Douglass to a 13-1 record, 6 shutouts, and the 2A State Championship. The Douglass junior has the ability to play multiple positions on the defensive side of the ball. He can move from Defensive End, to playing inside at Defensive Tackle, and has the athleticism to play Outside Linebacker. He accounted for 11 sacks, 73 tackles, 14 tackles for a loss, 1 fumbles recovered, and 2 forced fumbles.
Kieran Berry | 6’3’’ 210 lbs | Riverdale Baptist
Berry has a great combination of size and speed. A two sport athlete who also runs track, Berry was recently clocked at a 4.9 in the 40 yard dash. He contributed to the Riverdale defense with 9.5 sacks, 46 tackles, and 16.5 tackles for a loss. Berry is presently receiving interest from Howard, Towson, and FAMU.
