Naples, Florida – With much of the attention this time of year focused on the Class of 2023 (rising seniors) and Class of 2024 (rising juniors), the Prep Redzone Prospect Tour at the Paradise Sports Complex in Naples focused in on some impressive GameChangers from the Class of 2025 (rising sophomores).
With coaches from Ava Maria University, Keiser University and St. Thomas University of hand, plenty of talent flocked to southwest Florida – and everyone left impressed.
From Georgia and all over Florida, athletes came to learn, showcase their skills and get an opportunity for exposure. Unlike other combines or showcases, the Prep Redzone event will spotlight every prospect who attended over the next week and will be put out for over 1,000 colleges to watch and appreciate the talent in the Sunshine State.
Among the 2025 prospects that everyone left impressed by included:
Davion Dixon Davion Dixon 6'2" | 305 lbs | DL Belen Jesuit Preparatory | 2025 State FL (DL, 6-3, Miami Belen Jesuit). Already one of the top prospects in the country. Here is a young man who comminated varsity competition in his first season as he has the size, athletic ability and maturity as a 16-year-old with strength and great feet. In the showcase, he more than held his own against older prospects, but that is what he did this past season – and put him on the map nationally. This young man is the real deal – as his numerous college offers already backs up.

James Little IV (5-11, DB, Fort Myers Dunbar). Yet another under-the-radar prospect who has it all, and after a stellar first season at the varsity level for a No. 1 seeded team, he has impacted greatly during the off-season. A nationally-rated sprinter and high jumper, this is someone that coaches watched all day during the showcase as he made play after play and dazzled during the drills. This is a tremendous talent who also get it done in the classroom.

Ezekiel Marcelin (LB, 6-0, Miami Central). For those who watched this “monster” of a player perform this past season, helping to lead the Rockets to a third consecutive state title were sold right away. Speed, instincts and talent way off the charts. Has a chance to be as good as any linebacker this storied program churned out through the years. He turned heads in the drills – with amazing testing and tremendous skills during the drills and one-on-ones. A name not to forget.

Taylor Richardson (OL, 6-0, Gainesville). Watching this amazing talent through the course of a day, you automatically think that he is a throwback to when athletes loved the game and did what was needed to succeed. A workout warrior who is strong, talented and will take on all comers. Was one of the prospects that every coach on hand talked about. Nobody could believe that he has one varsity year under his belt. While height may hold him back, talent and desire will not.

Joshua Robinson Joshua Robinson 5'7" | 150 lbs | WR Calvary Christian | 2025 FL (WR, 5-7, Clearwater Calvary Christian). While this is a very talented football player, he is a physical “freak” with speed, agility and a knack of making things happen because he is extremely gifted. Testing, drills and every phase of the showcase, this was indeed a player who turned heads. We will keep our eye on his progress over the next few years. He is only going to get better on the football field.
