Derrick Brown Derrick Brown 6'4" | 210 lbs | LB Friendly | 2022 MD (2022) | 6’4 DE | Friendly
Brown is a dominant edge rusher. He does a great job of keeping blockers off of him as he has great body control. He is also explosive off the ball and often times beats the offensive line off the ball. When blockers do get their hands on him he does a great job of using his own hands to shed blockers off of him. Brown is very athletic and has the physical build to be dominant at the next level. This will be a big test for Brown as he will see a big step up in competition in this game.
Darius Lorfils Darius Lorfils 6'2" | 170 lbs | DB Northwest | 2022 State MD (2022) | 6’2 CB | Northwest
Lorfils is the exact type of corner that coaches look for at the next level. He has great size as he stands at 6’2. He also has great speed and is able to keep up with receivers in a foot race. He excels in press-man coverage as he has excellent feet. He is also a turnover threat as he has great ball skills and does a great job of high pointing the ball and coming down with it. Lorfils is a guy that will look to show that he can make an instant impact for Bowling Green next year.
Jeremiah Lewis Jeremiah Lewis 6'0" | 190 lbs | DB Archbishop Curley | 2022 State MD (2022) | 6’0 S | Archbishop Curley
Lewis is a weapon on the defensive side of the ball. The first thing that pops out on the tape is that he is violent. He lays down big hits all over the place. He is a box safety that does a great job of coming downfield in run support. He is also very versatile as he also has the ability to line as a nickel corner. He is not only a run stopper but he is also very strong in coverage as well. Lewis is a fun player and expect him to make some highlight plays.
Tahseen Howard Tahseen Howard 5'10" | 170 lbs | ATH Milford Mill | 2022 State MD (2022) | 5’11 S | Milford Mill
Howard is a playmaking safety. He is a ball-hawking safety that always seems to be in the right place at the right time. He is also a willing tackler. As a tackler, he does a great job of ripping or knocking the ball loose. He also creates turnovers in the passing game as he ended the season with 9 interceptions. Howard is a turnover machine so don’t be surprised if he causes a couple against Team Pennsylvania.
Amir Frye Amir Frye 6'3" | 225 lbs | DL Walter Johnson | 2022 MD (2022) | 6’3 DE | Walter Johnson
Frye is a very technically sound edge defender. He plays with great pad level and does a great job of dipping under blocks. He is an explosive pass rusher that is able to beat blockers with his explosiveness off the ball. He also has multiple pass rush moves that allows him to get after the passer. He is not only a pass rusher but he is also a very strong run defender. He does a great job of setting the edge and playing contain. Frye will be a perfect fit for Shepherd University.
Omari Terry (2022) | 5’9 S | St. Frances
Terry is a very versatile defensive back. He can play as a deep safety, he can play in the box, and he can even play as a nickel. He is strong in run support as he does a great job of slipping blocks and is a strong tackler. He is a very intelligent player and does a great job of reading plays. This allows him to be in the right spot in coverage and make plays on the ball and on receivers. Terry had a high level of competition at the high school level so don’t expect this all-star game to be too much for him.
Justin Palmer Justin Palmer 6'0" | 200 lbs | LB St. Charles | 2022 MD (2022) | 6’0 LB | St. Charles
Palmer is a traditional off-ball backer. He is a good inside run stuffer. He does a great job of filling holes and making stops. He is a very strong tackler and doesn’t allow a lot of yards after contact. At times he has also shown that he can drop into coverage if needed. Palmer will be key in Team Maryland’s ability to stop Team Pennsylvania’s run game.
