Justin Gil Justin Gil 6'0" | 190 lbs | QB La Habra | 2023 State CA – QB, La Habra
Gil was a standout at the PRZ Showcase in January after throwing for over 2,000 yards and 22 TDs his junior season. He can spread the ball around the field, throwing off a solid base and pushing the ball downfield. He throws with accuracy outside the numbers and puts the ball in good spots for his receivers. He moves well in the pocket and keeps the ball high and secure when escaping pressure. He sells the play fake well and gets the ball out quick. Gil will look to build off the momentum from last fall and the offseason circuit.

CJ Zackery CJ Zackery 6'0" | 185 lbs | RB La Mirada | 2023 CA – RB, La Mirada
Zackery transferred from La Habra, where he shared backfield duties with Dathan Lui last season, to La Mirada in January. He’s a smooth runner that can make plays between the tackles or running routes out of the backfield. He’s got decent size at 6’0”/185 with ability to break tackles in space and solid leg drive through contact. Zackery picked up his first offer from Whittier in late March. He’ll be looking to build recruiting momentum with an offer in hand and a strong senior season.

Troy Leigber- ATH, Laguna Hills
Leigber is a physical player on both sides of the ball at RB and SS. He’s a strong runner that delivers a strong stiff arm and shows powerful leg drive through contact. He’s an effective pass catcher that can run routes out of the backfield or the slot and challenges LBs downfield in man coverage. He’s active in coverage at this SS spot that shows timing and aggressiveness attacking a ball in the air. Leigber’s top-end speed could be a question but he presents promising upside with his physicality at both positions.

Bruce Newland III Bruce Newland III 6'4" | 240 lbs | QB El Capitan | 2023 CA – QB, El Capitan
Newland is a raw passer that shows accuracy and arm strength on film. He looks to still be growing into his 6’3”/205 frame but shows athleticism using his legs to pick up yards. He shows accuracy on short-intermediate routes and can but the ball in spots downfield. He throws off a strong, wide platform but could benefit from cleaning up his footwork and mechanics to take some float off the ball and add more zip. Newland will look to show continued growth and development in his senior season.

Ramon Ruiz- ATH, Madera
Ruiz has playmaking ability out of the slot with a knack for space and exploiting it. He can make difficult catches in traffic but could create more separation in his routes. He’s QB-friendly in scramble dills finding soft spots in coverage and presenting a target for the QB. He has the speed to challenge DBs vertically and the concentration to finish the catch. He’s a bit undersized at 6’0”/165 but could add weight and see some D-III interest with a strong senior season.
