Zhakins Thomas- 6’1 205Ibs/DE/ Converse Judson High School
Analysis: This young man is one prospect that caught my eye! Zhakins Thomas has great get off speed at the snap of the ball, and if you are not careful, you will definitely get sacked or he will acquire a tackle for loss easily. He is very good at setting the edge using his arms and possesses good technique with his hands to shed blocks! Next, he is a very good tackler, plays with a high motor, and does a good job at tracking the ball no matter where it is at. With some more years to obtain under his belt, Zhakins Thomas is going to be someone special in the future!
Ju’Ssiah Ali- 6’3 280Ibs/DE/ Roosevelt High School
Analysis: Ju’Ssiah Ali has decent speed for an athlete his size. With some more speed training, he would be deadly on the edges towards opponents. Mr. Ali hustles on every play while also possessing great strength to take down his opponents with ease! Furthermore, he has good gap discipline and stays in his lane the whole play which makes it hard to run the ball on him. Next, he plays physical on every play and is a hard hitter. In years to come, he will be a deadly threat to offenses who cross him! Keep your eye on him in the next two years!
D’andre Davis- 5’8 145Ibs/DB/ New Braunfels High School
Analysis: D’andre Davis is a huge sleeper around the city of San Antonio, and I mean a big one! Mr. Davis is very good in man and zone coverage. He is not afraid to tackle, which is crucial for a corner back. Next, he possesses good speed at the corner back position with great technique! When he is in coverage, he makes sure to stay in position and use his hands properly. That is why he is excellent at swatting down balls thrown his way. Do not limit this kid, he has the potential to play at the next level! College coaches and scouts keep your eye out on this young man.
Cameron Davis- 5’8 155Ibs/DB/ Samuel Clemens High School
Analysis: Cameron Davis is another phenomenal under dog to look out for in the future. In coverage, he does an excellent job using his hands and does a good job at following the receivers hip! He has excellent recovery speed if he is beat and does an extraordinary job at punching the ball out of wide receiver’s hands when they try to catch the ball! Also, Mr. Davis has good awareness which allows him to be a playmaker on defense. He is very difficult to throw at because he plays with good fundamentals. His talent will increase with more training and development as well in the future!
Dhaylen Stanton- 6’3 250Ibs/DE/ Madison High School
Analysis: Dhaylen Stanton is a problem on defense to opposing offenses! This young man is very good at shedding blocks in the run or pass game. Due to the fact he also has a high motor, and plays physical, that alone makes him very difficult to block. He does a good job at being explosive at the snap of the ball, and even though he does not have great speed, his long arms and size allows him to close gaps very quickly. He is also an asset at setting the edge which is crucial for the defensive end position! He is another young talented athlete to watch for in the future.
