Patrick Vallely Patrick Vallely 6'6" | 275 lbs | DL Divine Child | 2023 MI – Divine Child
Standing at 6’6″ 260lbs, Vallely has the size and strength to do great things. He has many highlights where he drives opponents back on both sides of the ball. I’d really like to see Vallely work on his overall fundamentals and footwork, as well as getting into the weight room. There are many times that Vallely fails to get low enough to produce maximum leverage, causing him to play weaker than he actually is. If Vallely can significantly improve his technique, he could be an amazing player
Denzel White Denzel White 6'0" | 180 lbs | DL Auburn Hills Avondale | 2023 MI – Avondale
I love the motor on this guy. Although small for the defensive line at just 6’0 180lbs, Denzel has good IQ while being extremely fast. I’m very impressed by the volume of his highlights and the sheer number of TFLs and sacks he produced. Granted he went unblocked on many of these plays (facing some bad offensive lines). All in all, I greatly hope that he’s been putting in enough time in the weight room, improving his body and craft enough to become a force against great teams.
Owen Sweeney Owen Sweeney 6'1" | 270 lbs | DL Pinckney | 2023 MI – Pinckney
A beast in the trenches on both side of the ball, Owen Sweeney Owen Sweeney 6'1" | 270 lbs | DL Pinckney | 2023 MI is a gritty player with D3/D2 potential. Last season he was a consistent, smart 2-way player who was especially impressive on the offensive line (LG). Sweeney is deceptively fast with great speed and technique on his pulls, and he’s overall a good blocker who always goes at full speed. The competition he faced was good, and he performed alright against a few elite defensive linemen. Heading into the 2022 season I hope to see a few touch-ups on his fundamentals when run/pass blocking along with his usual dominance with his pulls and LB blocking. On the defensiveside, I hope to see a wider array of moves to consistently get in the backfield.
