I saw Ma get some good reps for the OC Elite Five Star team at TurfWars in January. He got more varsity reps than most the quarterbacks on this list as a sophomore last season. He completed 59 percent of his passes for 1,229 yards with 9 touchdowns. He has a big arm and is pretty accurate to the far side of the field. He has a slower release but he puts his entire body into his throws. He throws well on the run and Woodbridge has a much better offense because of his versatility.

9. Noah Salas, Pacifica
Salas burst onto the scene with a record-setting performance in week seven against Valencia when he filled in for injured quarterback Darius Cowens Darius Cowens 6'0" | 170 lbs | QB Warren | 2023 State CA . He 19 of 26 passes for 395 yards and a school-record seven touchdowns in a 45-42 win to keep Pacifica’s Empire League title hopes alive. Salas is a lefty who has a solid arm and can turn dead plays into big ones. He extends plays with his legs and keeps his eyes down the field to find an open guy during a scramble. Cowens transferred to Warren and Salas is likely going to get a chance to start this season.
Pacifica defeated Valencia 45-42 to move to 1-1 in the Empire league. Sophomore Noah Salas broke a school record with 7 TD passes! #marinerfootball #empireleague @ocvarsity @ocvarsityguy @SteveFryer @OCSportsZone @GGUSD pic.twitter.com/q4alEukFCW

8. Xzavior Guess, El Modena
Guess is the fastest quarterback on this list and El Modena used him as a freshman in the zone/read and fly sweep/read game last season. He is a lefty who like Salas, always has his eyes in the secondary while scrambling and trying to make a play. He has a good enough arm to fire it in there on short and intermediate routes. You don’t get a chance to see how big his arm is on film but he has enough upside in the other areas of his game to make this list. Graduating quarterback Jack Keays told reporters in the preseason to keep an eye on Guess.
.@elmodenafb has a #HOT150 QB in @KeaysJackson but the senior mentioned that freshman QB Xzavior Guess is a name to remember in the future, Vanguards doing some nice building @ocvarsity

7. Sergio Torres Sergio Torres 6'1" | 175 lbs | QB Santa Ana | 2024 CA , Santa Ana
Torres was First Team All-Orange Coast League after completing 61 percent of his passes for 1,745 yards with 28 touchdowns and just two interceptions. He is 6-foot-2 and when I saw him at the Prep Redzone Stock Up Showcase in January, he was a little more muscular than I expected. His touchdown to interception ratio is a combination of Santa Ana’s scheme and Torres’ accuracy. Guys are wide open in Santa Ana’s offense but sometimes he fits the ball into tight windows and is accurate on deep balls. He’s a solid athlete who should have a big year for the Saints in the fall and possibly get some lower level offers.
Thank you to all my teammates and coaches! Until next season, let’s do it again. Go saints! @SantaAnaSaints @ocvarsity @Coach_Santana22 @Elite11 pic.twitter.com/0Zkpz8UKWJ

6. Hunter Najm Hunter Najm 6'2" | 170 lbs | QB Aliso Niguel | 2024 State CA , Aliso Niguel
Najm has a lot of upside and Aliso Niguel probably pulled the trigger on starting him later than they should have. He throws a nice deep ball, can move safeties with his eyes and puts good zip on the intermediate throws. He holds the ball down near his stomach which makes his release a little slower but the ball comes out of his hands smoothly. He was a top five or six quarterback at the Prep Redzone Stock Up Showcase and he has been putting in a lot of work this offseason in 7on7 and with renowned quarterback coach Dan Selway. Aliso will be a fairly young team on offense next year and will rely on Najm more than they did last year.
