OFFENSE
1. Mark Hamper Mark Hamper 6'2" | 205 lbs | ATH West Linn | 2023 State OR ATH 23’ West Linn- Hamper has a real shot of being the player of the year on both sides of the football. His 11.4 yards per rush and 13.6 yards per reception average, spoke to his versatility as a Junior, totaling 1,258 yards and 12 TDs in 11 games.
2. Sam Leavitt Sam Leavitt 6'2" | 200 lbs | QB West Linn | 2023 State OR QB 23’ West Linn- The 3* QB made the move from Westview after a phenomenal junior campaign where he passed for 26TD’s/3 INTs, hitting on 60% of his passes in 9 games, before a tough season ending loss to Tualatin
3. Jack Wagner Jack Wagner 6'4" | 185 lbs | QB Tualatin | 2023 State OR QB 23’ Tualatin- Wagner could be the conference and state POY in my opinion. He’s that good. With Jackson Jones Jackson Jones 6'0" | 190 lbs | QB Tualatin | 2022 State OR getting a majority of the reps last year folks aren’t necessarily aware. To put his overall athleticism into perspective, the 6-4 185-pound athlete rushed 50 times last season at QB, averaging 12.3 yards per carry.
4. Ryan Oliver Ryan Oliver 6'3" | 195 lbs | QB Lakeridge | 2023 State OR QB 23’ Lakeridge- Another kid who I believe has the potential of being a major D1 recruit. His 29 TDs/ 7 INTs starting the last two seasons are just a glimpse of what he could do. I would expect an unreal senior year statistically, with 4* Joey Olsen Joey Olsen 6'6" | 220 lbs | TE Lakeridge | 2024 State OR and fellow 2023 standout WR Baylor Corbin Baylor Corbin 6'2" | 175 lbs | ATH Lakeridge | 2023 State OR returning.
5. Wiley Donnerberg Wiley Donnerberg 6'4" | 200 lbs | ATH West Linn | 2024 State OR WR 24’ West Linn- Look for Donnerberg to have a player of the year type season. The 2nd team all-league WR as a Sophomore could be he TRL’s top two way threat along with teammate Mark Hamper Mark Hamper 6'2" | 205 lbs | ATH West Linn | 2023 State OR .
6. Joey Olsen Joey Olsen 6'6" | 220 lbs | TE Lakeridge | 2024 State OR WR 24’ Lakeridge- It will be tough to double team Olsen with all of the talent surrounding him. Over the last two seasons the state’s #1 recruit has caught 50 passes, averaging 21.5 ypc and 11 TDs.
7. Jayden Fortier Jayden Fortier 6'5" | 220 lbs | TE Tualatin | 2024 State OR TE/WR 24’ Tualatin- Fortier has been proving himself all off season on the 7v7 circuit after missing his sophomore year due to injury. Expect the 6-5 TE/WR to rank as one of the best in the West for his class.
8. Konner Grant Konner Grant 5'11" | 185 lbs | RB Tigard | 2023 State OR RB 23’ Tigard- The Tigers have one of the most talented and deep teams returning state wide. The 2nd team all-league RB will run behind a handful of all conference kids and should thrive in the run-based attack.
8tie. AJ Perez AJ Perez 6'3" | 170 lbs | WR Clackamas | 2023 State OR WR 23’ Tigard- One of the region’s most impressive WRs. His size and overall athleticism speak for itself. If the Tigers went to the air more Perez would be a conference and state statistical leader.
DEFENSE
1. Earl Ingle Earl Ingle 6'1" | 215 lbs | LB West Linn | 2023 State OR LB 23’ West Linn- The reigning conference player of the year will continue to lead what will be Oregon’s #1 ranked 6A team. With Leavitt transferring in, Ingle will be able to concentrate on D where he projects collegiately.
2. Mark Hamper Mark Hamper 6'2" | 205 lbs | ATH West Linn | 2023 State OR S 23’ West Linn- Hamper earned 1st team all-conference honors on both sides of the ball. He has a real shot of being the POY on offense and defense in the state’s toughest conference.
3. Ethan Biondine Ethan Biondine 6'0" | 220 lbs | LB Lakeridge | 2024 OR LB 24’ Lakeridge- Biondine started as a freshman and had one of the best seasons of any Sophomore state wide, making 88 total tackles with 14.5 tackles for loss. He projects on D but could end up one of the TRL’s top offensive threats as well.
4. Will Wilson Will Wilson 6'3" | 225 lbs | LB Tualatin | 2023 State OR LB 23’ Tualatin- Wilson projects as one of Oregon’s top defensive recruits for 2023 in my opinion. If the T Wolves make another run to the state title game, it will be because of kids like Wilson stepping up. Especially with the graduation of a deep senior class.
5. Wiley Donnerberg Wiley Donnerberg 6'4" | 200 lbs | ATH West Linn | 2024 State OR WLB 24’ West Linn- Wiley might be the only Junior in Oregon to be in contention for player of the year honors on both sides of the football. As big of a year as he will have statistically on offense, expect him to be a division 1 prospect on D.
6. Richie Anderson Richie Anderson 6'4" | 225 lbs | DL Tualatin | 2023 State OR DE 23’ Tualatin- Anderson ranks as one of the Northwest’s top DE’s, with Colorado St recently offering. He had one of the most impressive seasons of any underclassmen in Oregon, accounting for 56 total tackles with 10 sacks and 17 tackles for loss. How he received 2nd team all TRL honors is beyond me.
7. Calvin Macy Calvin Macy 6'2" | 200 lbs | LB Lake Oswego | 2023 State OR LB 23′ Lake Oswego – One of the state’s fastest rising prospects recently landed an offer from Air Force. The Lakers will need him to have an unreal senior season after earning 1st team all conference honors as a junior, and graduating a deep and talented 2022 class.
8. Ryan Vandenbrink Ryan Vandenbrink 6'2" | 210 lbs | LB West Linn | 2024 State OR LB 24’ West Linn- I could see Oregon St wanting VandenBrink to play college football as well. The Beavers baseball commit had a breakout sophomore year and ranks as one of the state’s top 24’s.
9. Ben Winjum Ben Winjum 5'11" | 200 lbs | LB West Linn | 2023 State OR LB 23’ West Linn- Most aren’t aware that Winjum had one of the best seasons of any Junior state wide, earning 1st team all-conference honors and making 79 total tackles with 4 tackles for loss. He could be a 100+ tackle guy this coming year.
10. Ryder Swanson Ryder Swanson 6'1" | 220 lbs | DL Oregon City | 2024 State OR DE 24’ Oregon City- One of the state’s breakout Sophomores. OC has a bunch of all conference talent returning with Swanson being the most recruitable. He eared 2nd team all TRL accolades in 21′.
11. AJ Noland AJ Noland 6'2" | 185 lbs | DB Tualatin | 2024 State OR DB 24’ Tualatin- Noland earned 2nd team all-conference honors as a sophomore, picking off 3 passes. He will be called upon to guard and stop D1 receivers almost every week, so opportunities will be plentiful from the standpoint of proving himself.
12. Austin Goetz Austin Goetz 6'2" | 215 lbs | LB Tigard | 2023 State OR LB 23’ Tigard- The Tigers have a host of talented kids returning with Goetz potentially being the most athletic. Look for the 6-3 200 pound athlete to excel against the state’s top competition and potentially land a few FCS offers.
