On the surface, the concept seems simple. You run up to the ball and swing your leg at it as hard as possible. Though there is truly so much, that goes into kicking. Of course, we have the technical aspect, with your steps, foot placement, etc. However, I would argue that kicking is one of the most mentally taxing positions. A kick very often decides the outcome of a game, and at the professional level, a missed kick can and will cost you your livelihood. In this article, I’ll be discussing our three outstanding kickers in the class of 2023!
Adam Samaha Adam Samaha 6'0" | 165 lbs | K Huron | 2023 State MI – Huron – Michigan Commit
Samaha has power, accuracy, and an insane will to improve. Samaha is a nationally known name in the kicking community, and he has some serious potential at the college level. He’s the #1 Kicker in America, or I guess technically the world. The video below is incredible, and I can’t wait until he gets to prove himself in the Maize and Blue.

Cordell Jones-McNally Cordell Jones-McNally 5'8" | 165 lbs | K Marcellus | 2023 State MI – Marcellus – Kohl’s Profile
Another true kicking talent, Jones-Mcnally is a 5-star kicker and 4.5-star punter according to Kohls Kicking. He’s constantly posing about kicking competitions, private workouts, etc. In general, he’s all-in on kicking. Being a top-25 athlete is something to be incredibly proud of, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for him.
Yousef Obeid Yousef Obeid 5'11" | 150 lbs | K Dearborn | 2023 MI – Dearborn – Kornblue Profile
Not too much new info on Obeid, but he remains a consistently strong kicking prospect. A Kornblue guy, he’s been attending camps with them for years. He was recently at a colossal kicking camp in Dallas at AT&T stadium. Watch Obeid launch some kicks, giving them great arc and power.
