Jabree Wallace-Coleman (Imhotep Charter): The Imhotep Charter tailback stepped in as a freshman this past fall and immediately became one of the state’s elite talents at the position. Wallace-Coleman has all the makings of a future elite recruit at the position both at the state level but also nationally. Coleman already features 13 reported scholarship offers, including 12 Power Five offers with Georgia, Ole Miss, Penn State, Tennessee, and Texas A&M being the schools that stand out. He has the size, speed, and elusiveness. According to Maxpreps, Wallace-Coleman didn’t get an overwhelming amount of carries with just 37, but on those limited carries, he totaled 380-yards and five touchdowns. Don’t be shocked if those numbers skyrocket next fall.
Tiqwai Hayes Tiqwai Hayes 6'1" | 200 lbs | RB Aliquippa | 2025 State PA (Aliquippa): Hayes is much like Wallace-Coleman in that he immediately became of the state’s top talents at the running back position this past fall. Hayes, however, was Alquippia’s lead back this season as he amassed over 1,700 yards while taking it to the house 23 times. Simply outstanding numbers from a freshman. Hayes is a powerful back with a tremendous combination of size and speed, he shows great vision at such a young age as well and the ability to hit holes quickly with an explosive burst. Hayes has reported six scholarship offers from Cincinnati, Connecticut, Maryland, Penn State, Pittsburgh, and West Virginia.
Christopher Smith Christopher Smith 5'9" | 185 lbs | RB Malvern Prep | 2025 State PA (Malvern Prep): The early results for the Malvern prep running back are promising, while we were unable to find any stats for Smith, the HUDL tape shows a running back has an incredible burst of speed and hits holes like a rocket while also showing great vision and fluid hips, allowing him to easily change direction. Despite being just 5-foot-8 right now, he runs incredibly tough as well and can take quite a bit of contact. A top-notch talent to keep your eyes on going forward.
Semaj Carmichael Semaj Carmichael 5'11" | 185 lbs | RB Boys Latin Charter | 2025 PA (Boys Latin Charter): Carmichael was dynamite on the ground for Boys Latin Charter in Philadelphia this fall, racking up nearly 1,100 rushing yards and four touchdowns on 192 carries. He also showed some early versatility in the passing game with eight receptions for 217 yards and three more scores. Carmichael shows off high-end speed and elusiveness in his freshman tape, making him extremely hard to bring down.
Dorian Thomas Dorian Thomas 5'9" | 165 lbs | RB Executive Charter | 2025 State PA (Executive Charter): Thomas doesn’t feature elite speed but he shows some quality traits that will make him a running back to watch over the next there years. Despite being one of the smaller backs we’ve discussed here today, he isn’t afraid of contact, and shows solid lower body strength that allows him to power through some contact. He also has some quick feet and good vision that allows him to be elusive despite not having great speed.
James Dolan James Dolan 5'11" | 170 lbs | WR La Salle College Prep | 2025 State PA (LaSalle College Prep): La Salle over the years has produced some great talents and Dolan may be the next in line as he shows promise both offensively at running back and on the defensive side of the ball. There’s not too much tape to go over here especially offensively and I personally have not been able to see him play so it’s not possible to go tremendously in-depth on his talents at running back. But by all reports, Dolan is prime to be a big part of La Salle’s offense and one of the Catholic League’s top running backs over the next few years.
Nakai Robinson Nakai Robinson 6'1" | 230 lbs | RB Archbishop Wood | 2025 PA (Archbishop Wood): Finally we have Archbishop Wood’s, Nakai Robinson Nakai Robinson 6'1" | 230 lbs | RB Archbishop Wood | 2025 PA , there’s not much out there on Robinson but everything I’ve heard on him, has been very good. I hope to get out to a game next fall to see him play.
