SSAC Atlantic League Key Players in 2022

There are a lot of young talented prospects and several sleeper prospects that could start getting looks for the next level. Prep Redzone Florida will always promote everybody in hopes of them getting the opportunity of playing college football at the next level. No other prep site brings you more prospects to check out than Prep Redzone Florida!         Payton Ellis, RB- Cocoa Beach High c/o 23 6’0 190lbs Ellis is a player for Cocoa Beach that really flashes some ability, he doesn’t have stats on MaxPreps, but on film he shows the ability to run with power and drop his shoulder and run through tackles, shows good feel and has some lateral agility and quickness in the hole, does a good job reading is blocks finding the crease to get to the 2nd level. He’s a two-sport athlete that’s also on the track team. He flashes the ability to be a solid in the box linebacker, showing the ability to read his keys and get to the ball-carrier, shows big-play capabilities knifing through the line forcing negative plays, and possesses short-area quickness to make plays in the backfield. Under the radar Prospect to keep an eye on the next few seasons. He’s a very good student with 3.5 GPA. Film: <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/16523884/Deshaun-Speights">https://www.hudl.com/profile/16523884/Deshaun-Speights</a>   Stephen Ikeokwu, RB- Paxson High c/o 23 5’10 190lbs Ikeokwu is an under-the-radar prospect that was solid last season leading Paxson High School in rushing with 694 yards, averaged six yards per carry, and five rushing touchdowns. Shows some ability in the passing game with four catches for 44 yards. He has good quickness through the hole and has the ability to dart through tight spaces and has nice vision, uses acceleration to get into the open field quickly. Reads blocks very well and hits the hole without any hesitation. Has good top end speed. He’s a dual-threat quarterback, but where he really thrives is in the running game. Last season he passed for 388 yards and three touchdowns through the air, and rushed for 1240 yards, averaged seven yards per carry with 13 rushing touchdowns. He is more advanced as a runner than a passer at this stage. As a runner he’s powerful, shows quick feet, and has good speed in the open field and is strong through contact. He does a good job at buying time in the pocket can keeping his eyes downfield, he has a strong arm and flashes nice deep touch and passing ability. He’s also a good student with a 3.2 GPA.
