I knew the location of Tri-Valley from when I was in high school, the school is made up of the small towns of Colton, Crooks, and Lyons. All three towns agreed to centralize a high school and build it close enough so each town could use it. In college and I ran track with a kid from Tri-Valley, who was also on the football team at Southwest Minnesota State. He transferred after his first semester to another school within the NSIC, a kid who took a gamble on himself and it really paid off for him. This kid in The University of Sioux Falls RB Landon Freeman who just made the All-Conference Second team this last season. After sweeping through the Tri-Valley roster, Nate and I both agreed that they had a bunch of good athletes of some caliber that could get them to the next level. I am writing this article in hopes of making a breakthrough and getting a lot of these kids to play college ball. Here are some athletes from Tri-Valley to know.
