The wide receiver position is perhaps the more played position in all of football, which means some talented players can easily be overlooked.
Below are six receivers who are raising their stock value and becoming prospects with prime recruiting potential.
D’Andre Barnes D’Andre Barnes WR Regis Jesuit | 2023 State CO | Regis Jesuit | 6’1”, 175lbs
Barnes is a talented receiver who can create separation with his explosiveness, shifty releases, and breakaway speed. He has strong hands with an impressive catch radius and a high level of physicality. Barnes has started to see a jump in his recruiting journey, earning Nevada and Bowling Green offers.

Tucker Peterson Tucker Peterson 6'2" | 175 lbs | WR Roosevelt | 2023 State CO | Roosevelt | 6’3”, 190lbs
Peterson is a serious deep threat with great size and high-point abilities. He is a physical player who quickly gets upfield with good vision as a ball carrier and overall speed. Peterson will be entering his senior season with breakout potential as a recruit, making him a must-know player.

Mateo Esquivel Mateo Esquivel WR Pueblo South | 2023 State CO | Pueblo South | 6’2”, 170lbs
Esquivel is a speedy athlete who is extremely dangerous whenever he gets into open space. He is explosive off the snap with his quick releases and sharp breaks. He is a tough player who is unafraid to go up and catch passes in traffic. Esquivel had an eye-catching junior season, making his senior campaign one to watch.

Jerry Lydiatt Jerry Lydiatt TE Pine Creek | 2023 State CO | Pine Creek | 6’2”, 225lbs
Lydiatt is a versatile athlete who can line up as the H or the Y and find ways to exploit holes within the secondary. He is a big target who is a good route runner with great hands and can run through tackles. Lydiatt is a recruit with significant upside who will be one of the senior leaders among that receiving core.

Jacob Kucharski Jacob Kucharski 5'11" | 180 lbs | WR Cherry Creek | 2023 State CO | Cherry Creek | 5’10”, 170lbs
Kucharski is a crafty route runner with shifty breaks and explosive speed. He displays excellent ball-tracking and sure-handedness, which mix perfectly with his ability to create space with his breaks and his speed. Kucharski is an under-the-radar type of player who has the potential of having a breakout season.

Jake Perruccio Jake Perruccio WR Denver South | 2023 State CO | Denver South | 6’3”, 185lbs
Perruccio is a big target with deep threat potential and an excellent catch radius. He shows his athleticism when going up to make a catch at the highest point. He is a physical player who uses leverage and strength when making blocks in space. Perruccio is a true sleeper in the recruiting world with serious upside, making him a prospect to know.
