Gavin Peacock
Sincere Edwards Sincere Edwards 6'1" | 245 lbs | DL Apopka Wekiva | 2024 State FL | 6’2’’ 250 lbs | Wekiva High School | Class of 2024
Edwards has competed in the Georgia vs Florida Underclassmen Showcase for the past 2 years and was the 2021 Showcase MVP as a freshmen. Since his freshmen season he has been a notable force in the state, having over 20 plus sacks as a freshmen and 10 plus sacks this past season. His early dominance and 3.8 GPA make him a “no brainer” for college coaches. He already has a long list of offers from Michigan St, UCF, Coastal Carolina, Cincy, Indiana, USF, Kentucky, Marshall, Iowa St, FIU, Arkansas, Utah, Mississippi St, and Ole Miss.
Loren Ward | 6’3’’ 270 lbs | Cocoa High School | Class of 2024
Ward played lights out in the GA vs FL Underclassmen Showcase. He had 2 sacks, 4 tackles for a loss, and 1 forced fumble. As a sophomore, he was a contributor to Cocoa’s 11-2 season and state playoff run that led them to the State Championship before losing to Cardinal Gibbons. He holds an offer from USF right now, and I see that list growing as he continues to put in work.
D’Andre LaVassaur | 6’ 270 lbs | Palm Beach Lakes High School | Class of 2024
LaVassaur is a solid player on the both sides of the ball. On offense, he has the power to create holes and the footwork that makes him dependable in pass protection. On defense, he plays the interior well enough to disrupt any run plays.
Gavin Peacock | 6’1’’ 250 lbs | Monarch High School | Class of 2023
Peacock had a strong junior campaign, earning multiple accolades for his efforts. He was named All State Honorable Mention, First Team All County, Defensive Player of the Year nominee, and was rated as one of the top Defensive Lineman in the county. He finished the season with 85 tackles, 30 tackles for a loss, and 6.5 sacks.
Greg Smith Greg Smith 6'2" | 295 lbs | DL Plant City Durant | 2023 FL | 6’2’’ 285 lbs | Durant High School | Class of 2023
Smith is the 20th ranked Defensive Linemen in the state of Florida. He is a force in the middle as a dominant run stopper who clogs up potential holes in the middle. Creating penetration in the backfield and causing Running Backs to bounce outside doesn’t necessarily show up on the stat sheet, but it extremely valuable. Smith had 22 tackles, 2 sacks, 4 QB hurries, and 1 fumble recovery this past season. He anchored a D- Line that pushed Durant to an 8-3 record and an appearance in the State Playoffs.
Jackson Klein | 6’3’’ 220 lbs | Cardinal Gibbons High School | Class of 2024
Klein has all the attributes of a good edge defender. He is long, explosive, has violent hands, and a 6’5’’ wingspan to go with it. Cardinal Gibbons was loaded with athletes on the defensive side of the the ball and Klein was part of that unit that led the team to an amazing season. They went 11-2 and won the State Championship.
C.J. Johnson C.J. Johnson 6'2" | 220 lbs | DL Delray American Heritage | 2023 FL | 6’2’’ 235 lbs | American Heritage- Delray High School | Class of 2023
Johnson was named 1st Team Palm Beach All County and Co- Defensive Player of the Year. He accounted for 47 total tackles, 16 tackles for a loss, 13 sacks, 3 Quarterback hurries, 2 forced fumbles, 2 fumble recoveries, 1 blocked punt, 1 blocked field goal, and 1 defensive touchdown. His dominance led American Heritage- Delray to a 9-4 season and to the 3rd round of the playoffs before losing to eventual State Champion Chaminade Madonna.
