Peyton Jones Peyton Jones 5'11" | 180 lbs | WR Maury | 2023 State VA | 5’10’’ 180 lbs | Maury High School (VA) | Class of 2023
Jones was the sole Running Back from the DMV that earned an invite to the Ray Lewis Camp. Jones, the 22nd ranked overall player in the state of Virginia, was named First Team All State this season so his performance at the camp came as no surprise to those that have seen him play before. He has offers from Kentucky, Virginia Tech, Marshall, Ohio State, Kent State, Duke, and West Virginia,
Tyreon Taylor Tyreon Taylor 5'9" | 175 lbs | RB Phoebus | 2023 State VA | 5’9’’ 175 lbs | Phoebus High School (VA) | Class of 2023
Taylor is one of the prospects who stood out during the camp. Arguably one of the best performances in the 1v1 portion of the camp, Taylor won more than his fare share of reps by being an instant mismatch for opposing Linebackers. Taylor, the 7th ranked RB in the state of VA, ran one of the fastest times of the day (4.81) in not the most desirable conditions. For comparison, he is a state qualifier in the 55 meter dash with a time of 6.72 seconds. Named First Team All District , First Team All Region, and led his team to a State Title this past season. He has an offer from Buffalo, and receiving interest from Kent State, UMass, JMU, and Cincy.
Iverson Howard | 5’11’’ 180 lbs | Quince Orchard High School (MD) | Class of 2025
Howard was the fastest man at the camp. He ran the 40 yard dash in 4.7 seconds on 40 degree day, outside, facing the wind, and snow flurries. To put it in perspective, the majority of participants, well known speedsters in their own right, were unable to break under 5 seconds. Howard started varsity as a freshmen for a statewide powerhouse program and was the ground attack for Quince Orchard’s 4A State Championship run. He was named All Montgomery County Honorable Mention, and already has an offer from West Virginia.
Dilin Jones Dilin Jones 6'0" | 175 lbs | RB Good Counsel | 2024 State MD | 6’ 175 lbs | Our Lady of Good Counsel High School (MD) Class of 2024
Jones was another standout performer from that camp. He won multiple reps in the 1v1s, and displayed showed a great deal of speed to go along with good size. He is the 3rd ranked RB in the Class of 2024 and the 25th overall prospect in the state. He earned WCAC 1st Team All Conference, and was a key part of Good Counsel’s success this past season. The Falcons finished 7-5, and made is to the Conference Championship after upsetting Dematha, before eventually losing to St John’s. Jones has multiple offers from Maryland, Florida State, Marshall, Liberty, and Boston College.
Dawon Dorsey Dawon Dorsey 5'7" | 175 lbs | RB Calvert Hall | 2023 State MD | 5’7’’ 183 lbs |Calvert Hall College High School | Class of 2023
Dorsey looked impressive during the camp. He moves very well, has a low center of gravity, and showed the ability to cut on a dime. He was the workhorse for Calvert Hall last season, led them to a 9-3 record, the MIAA Championship, and a final ranking of number 7 in the state. Dorsey was named to the 1st Team All MIAA Conference Team after coming close to the 1k yard mark and 10 touchdowns. The 3.4 GPA student has an offer from Morgan, and also has interest from Georgetown, Mercer, and Columbia.
