Many of the prospects we are going to look at are setting the stage for a strong 2022 season. We are going to look at prospects that are guys you need to keep an eye on this off season and during the 2022 season.
Kiandre Barker-Running Back-Beebe-2025
Kiandre Barker is one of those running backs that is a complete running back. He can take the ball between the tackles or cut it to the outside. Barker has excellent speed and once he gets into the open field, he is extremely tough to bring down. He has displayed that he has the hands and the receiving skills to function well split out as a wide receiver. Barker puts his speed to use when it comes to catching the football. He has lit up the 7-on-7 circuit, and he is just getting started this offseason. Look for a strong 2022 season from Barker.
Floyd Williams Floyd Williams 6'1" | 170 lbs | DB Gosnell | 2023 State AR -Athlete-Gosnell-2023
Williams is a nightmare in the secondary for opposing wide receivers to deal with. The defensive side of the ball allows Williams him to be a lockdown defensive back. He has excellent speed and has earned a scholarship offer from Middle Tennessee State University. Throwing in his direction is a bit of a risky decision and can result in turnovers. Williams has lit up the 7-on-7 circuit on both sides of the ball and is someone that I expect to continue to have a monster offseason and regular season in 2022.
Karter Ratliff Karter Ratliff 6'6" | 215 lbs | WR Bryant | 2025 State AR -Wide Receiver-Bryant-2025
Ratliff is lighting up the 7-on-7 circuit and in the process giving a preview of what the upcoming high school football season may look like. At 6’5”, Ratliff is a target all over the field and is a nightmare to account for in the red zone. He has the hands to haul in passes and the size to out jump opposing defensive backs for the football. Ratliff is a prospect to keep an eye on with the Bryant Hornets. The Hornets do not appear to be at a shortage of talented prospects coming up through the ranks.
Jabrae Shaw Jabrae Shaw 5'11" | 190 lbs | ATH Little Rock Mills | 2023 State AR -Athlete-Little Rock Mills-2023
Over the past few months, Jabrae Shaw Jabrae Shaw 5'11" | 190 lbs | ATH Little Rock Mills | 2023 State AR has exploded on to the scene. Shaw on the defensive side of the ball is a nightmare for opposing wide receivers to attempt to defeat. Shaw is a playmaker in the secondary with a nose for the football. He is a prospect that has impressive speed and is a prospect that is going to terrorize opposing offenses in 2022. The versatility that Shaw has is going to make him a weapon on both sides of the ball. Look for Shaw to continue to light up the 7-on-7 circuit this offseason.
Lawson Worthey Lawson Worthey 6'3" | 215 lbs | ATH Greenbrier | 2024 State AR -Wide Receiver-Greenbrier-2024
Lawson Worthey Lawson Worthey 6'3" | 215 lbs | ATH Greenbrier | 2024 State AR is a target that you want to find when you need a big catch or to extend the drive. Worthey has had a terrific start to the 7-on-7 season. He shows tremendous athletic ability and can go up and make the reception when needed. Worthey gives the Greenbrier coaching staff a player that they can line up all over the field. Worthey is another Greenbrier wide receiver that folks are going to want to keep an eye on this season.
