Austin Schultz Austin Schultz 6'4" | 280 lbs | OL Moorhead | 2023 State MN – 6’5″ 285lbs (Moorhead High School)
Schultz is a nasty OL who consistently finishes his blocks and has impressive film from his RT position. I love watching OL who make impactful contact at the first level before climbing to the second level. Schultz does a great job of moving DL with a strong punch and then working up to the second level where he buries LB’s. Schultz has a high ceiling as an OL and I’m excited to see his growth as he heads into his senior season.
Jonathan Martin Jonathan Martin 6'1" | 315 lbs | OL Celina | 2023 TX – 6’1″ 290lbs (Spectrum High School)
Oh boy is Martin a tenacious blocker. He LOVES pulverizing opposing DL, and is at his best when he’s used as a pulling OL. He does a great job of driving his feet and is very physical at the point of contact. Martin is probably limited to an interior OL spot at the next level, based upon his height and length, however, he has plenty of athleticism to fit most college offenses.
Travis Biery Travis Biery 6'2" | 220 lbs | DL Sauk Rapids-Rice | 2023 State MN – 6’2″ 225lbs (Sauk Rapids-Rice High School)
Biery is a lanky, yet powerful DL who is asked to play more as an interior guy for the Storm defense. However, I foresee a move to a more traditional DE in the future as his size and explosiveness definitely play better on the edge at the next level. Biery does a great job of using his hands and keeping opposing OL off of him so that he is able to read and react to the play. When he is used on the edge Biery shows good pass rushing aptitude and plenty of speed and quickness to make a QB’s life difficult.
Ian Oberfeld – 6’2″ 255lbs (Pierz High School)
Oberfeld is an impressive DL prospect who utilizes a quick first step to wreak havoc on opposing offenses. Oberfeld has plenty of power to his game as well and continually drives OL into their own backfield. On the offensive side of the ball, Oberfeld is a solid run blocker who can get into opposing DL and open holes for his RB. I think his future is definitely on the defensive side of the ball where his quickness and power will make him a force as a DT.
