Its is mind-blowing how much talent is found and especially at such a young age, and these players are an example of it! If we missed any, please let us know!
Dakyus Brinkley – Seven Lakes
Brinkley is a disruptive player who recreates the line of scrimmage, and when he is not blocked just know that he is more than likely making the play. He has great size to him and is fluid with his movements. Brinkley shows good coverage skills and moves well in space. As a rusher he is dominate. He uses his size and strength to get through blocks and shows very good bend on some of his rushes. Very good use of his length to keep blockers off by locking out his arms and very good secondary moves. Brinkley will be a name discussed for the next few years to come and has the potential to be a game altering player.
Kory Pradia Kory Pradia 5'9" | 210 lbs | LB Klein Forest | 2024 State TX – Klein Forest
Pradia does an excellent job of making stops for minimal or no gains as the unblocked player. He shoots the gap with no hesitation and meets the ball carrier before they get momentum. Pradia reads and reacts and does a great job of play recognition. He reads gaps very well and as a flow linebacker knows when to make his move downhill. Pradia is physical at the point of attack and does a good job of disengaging when blocked. He is a very good run stopper who gives little ground and will only get better with every game played.
Braylen Kizzee – Hightower
Kizzee is a quick, instinctual player who plays with a fantastic motor. No false steps in his game and he is decisive with his moves. Kizzee sees the ball and he takes off to it. Anything in his way is getting ran through. Kizzee shows good coverage skills along side his exceptional run defense. He reads the movement of blockers and reacts accordingly. He is a great player to have manning the defense and to think that he is only a sophomore is wild. He has no doubt grabbed our attention.
Jacory Johnson – Humble
Johnson is a physical player who shows good strength and physicality at the point of attack. He shows good skills in shedding blocks and making the play. Johnson is explosive when he sees an open lane and moves well sideline to sideline. He possesses the speed and quickness to spy quarterbacks and to shoot gaps before being touched. Johnson will be a problem for the next two seasons.
