Kylon Griffin Kylon Griffin 6'1" | 180 lbs | DB Montgomery Catholic | 2022 State AL was a fantastic player during his time at Montgomery Catholic and finally is seeing his long recruiting process come to an end. Griffin, a Mississippi State commit for most of 2021, decided to de-commit in early December to weigh his options. As time went on, he received more looks from top-tier programs like Clemson, USC, and Nebraska. As January came to a close, Griffin came to a decision, and is singing to Clemson! Griffin is a super versatile tough defensive playmaker that will greatly benefit the Tigers as he heads there this fall!

Beau Sellers Beau Sellers 6'4" | 305 lbs | OL Wicksburg | 2022 State AL is an offensive lineman that we have had eyes on for a while. Sellers was an integral part of the Wicksburg offensive line throughout his entire high school career, consistently providing great protection for his quarterback while also being a crucial part of the run game. Sellers had received offers from Birmingham Southern, Millsaps, Faulkner, and others, but ultimately decided to commit to in-state Troy. Troy is getting an all-around great offensive lineman that has plenty of experience, and will be a great addition to the Trojans 2022 recruiting class!

Jakobie Hurley Jakobie Hurley 6'5" | 190 lbs | WR Florence | 2022 State AL is a massive wide receiver that was extremely valuable for Florence’s passing attack last season despite missing 6 games. Hurley is huge standing at 6’5 190, and has the athleticism to make fantastic plays outside, especially when it comes to his yard after catch ability. Hurley was routinely able to use his speed and toughness to take short passes for massive yardage or touchdowns, consistently being an explosive receiving threat. Surprisingly, Hurley was slept on a lot during his high school career and didn’t receive much collegiate attention. However, Hurley was able to commit to instate North Alabama and will look to continue his playing career there this fall!
Cai Mayowa Cai Mayowa 6'2" | 195 lbs | WR Hoover | 2022 AL -WR |6’2 197| |Hoover|
Cai Mayowa Cai Mayowa 6'2" | 195 lbs | WR Hoover | 2022 AL is another slept-on wide receiver in the 2022 class that impressed a lot last fall with Hoover. Mayowa has great size, speed, and route running ability that allows him to create separation and overpower defensive backs. Mayowa also possesses high awareness, he has a great feel for what to do every play, and it’s seen in times where he’s catching along the sideline, or where he runs after the catch. Mayowa was frequently a very reliable receiving option for Bennett Meredith Bennett Meredith 6'2" | 175 lbs | QB Hoover | 2022 State AL and Hoover’s offense, consistently making great plays and moving the chains. Mayowa was also surprisingly underrecruited, but will be heading to Jacksonville State this fall!

Blayne Myrick Blayne Myrick 6'3" | 215 lbs | LB Fairhope | 2022 AL is just a really great football player, he can perform well in a ton of different positions and contributes in tons of ways. Myrick lined up at strong safety, outside linebacker, wide receiver, and kick and punt returner, effectively having a place in all three phases of the game. Myrick thrives mostly on defense, he has a great ability to pick off passes and make tough tackles everywhere on the field. When asked on offense, Myrick can be a really reliable receiver as well, he has a great set of hands that rarely drop passes. On special teams, Myrick routinely was able to return kicks and punts all the way to the end zone. Overall, Blayne Myrick Blayne Myrick 6'3" | 215 lbs | LB Fairhope | 2022 AL was highly important to Fairhope’s entire program and is going to provide that same talent to South Alabama over the next few years!
