These five young men all have very bright futures, some just getting their feet wet and others that are certainly going to be a college prospect in the next year or so.
Justin Hisle | QB | East Jessamine | 2025
Justin shows some ample awareness inside the pocket and has the ability to use his speed to quickly escape to extend the play with his legs. He has strong composure throwing the football and has substantial precision when he throws the ball onto deeper routes giving his wide outs a quick go to get yards after the catch. I am a big fan of his touch ball that he throws on those medium level routes. He has a strong football IQ for his age, as if the play isn’t there he uses his legs on the inside or outside of the field with good speed to move the ball down the field. A big time QB prospect to watch out of East Jessamine over the next several years for sure as I already am a big fan of this young man’s game with plenty of development and reps coming his way.

Clay Hayden | QB | Beechwood | 2025
Clay shows off a nice quick release especially on those medium level routes. He also shows off an added touch on his ball that is solid to watch on tape. This kid is not afraid to put his head down and get the dirty yards with contact on the run when it’s a 3rd and short situation. With plenty of years to develop, one the key skillsets I would like to see more from him is improvement on his footwork, as he shows a very slight imbalance at this given time but plenty of potential to grow. He does show a tight spiral especially when he throws on his deeper routes. Added speed and durability will make this kid a solid pro-style QB prospect in the coming years.
Dylan Burdine Dylan Burdine 5'11" | 180 lbs | QB East Ridge | 2023 State KY | QB | East Ridge | 2023
Dylan has an absolute loaded arm with sound accuracy that has great ball placement in some very tight windows. I love how he reads the secondary with his vision, as he can visualize what steps and speed the corner is making to assure he places the ball outside their wheelhouse. Dylan also does a excellent job convincing his wide receivers to adjust their routes on the fly, as he manages each play just like a QB1 should. He also has great escape speed, that has some room to get even faster this offseason with some work in speed drills. He is super well-put together too for his size. Dylan for sure has scholarship-level talent in my eyes and I am sure will prove all that this summer at prospect camps.
Deuce Bailey | QB | Bowling Green | 2025
I cannot believe Deuce is just a freshman. He has an incredible amount of athleticism for his age as well as a cannon of an arm. He has excellent precision and his ball placement especially when the football field turf runs out is as pinpoint as you can be when it comes to his accuracy. I have not seen many freshman that can hit his wide receivers over their back shoulder as well as Deuce can. When he needs to use his legs, he shows off excellent footwork between the tackles and excess speed to make the long run. I typically do not say this about many freshman, but if I am Kentucky or Louisville I would not let this kid get out of state as he is for sure a Power 5 prospect coming out of Bowling Green. Buy stock now in Deuce Power 5 schools, you will not regret it.
Andrew Witherington | QB | Tates Creek | 2024
Andrew has one of the best touch balls I have seen from Kentucky’s class of 2024 thus far from watching plenty of film over the last week or so. Watching him rep after rep, it consistently comes out not only with a highly quick release and an excellent ball thru the air. Watching his eyes, he can change his route of direction quickly, shifting from one side of the field to the other in a rapid amount of time. He shows a high amount of poise in the pocket and has forcible arm strength with solid accuracy. He doesn’t leave the pocket all that much, but when he does have to use his feet, he’s an instinctive runner that can still sell a throw and take off with his legs making a smart football play. His football IQ is towering, and not to mention, he’s a straight A student with a 4.0 GPA. For sure a prospect to watch in Lexington over the next two seasons.
