Sanborne Melson 6-1 190 DB 23’ Jefferson- One of the most talked about athletes on the 7v7 circuit and potentially the top CB prospect in Oregon. Melson was raw at first but figured it out quickly, as he has great size and physicality.
Hunter Borter Hunter Borter 6'4" | 210 lbs | QB Beaverton | 2023 State OR 6-4 200 QB 23’ Beaverton- Borter looked like one of the top QBs in the state at times last year. He brings legit size to the table, but will lose a couple key targets in Kyron Albright Kyron Albright 6'1" | 180 lbs | ATH Beaverton | 2022 State OR and Cristian Gonzalez Cristian Gonzalez 5'9" | 175 lbs | ATH Beaverton | 2022 State OR to graduation. He is the unquestioned key if the Beavers are going to win next year.
Ryan Berger Ryan Berger 6'5" | 280 lbs | OL Liberty | 2023 State OR 6-5 270 OL 23’ Liberty- The Co-Pacific Conference O lineman of the year and probably the fastest line prospect in Oregon. He has great size and could end up listed among the state’s top 15-20 recruits.
Payton Roth Payton Roth 6'4" | 200 lbs | RB Jesuit | 2023 State OR 6-3 190 RB 23’ Jesuit- If we were putting these athletes in Oregon from a “potential blow up” standpoint in order, Roth would most likely be #1. He torched defenses last year with 200+ yard performances and multiple TDs, before a season ending injury.
Blake Baker Blake Baker 6'0" | 185 lbs | QB Clackamas | 2023 State OR 6-0 175 QB 23’ Clackamas- Baker possesses some of that “It” factor which helped him throw 19 TDs and only 2 INTs during the regular season. The Cavs should be a top 10 program, and will have a chance to make a run if they can maintain a healthy balance in their offensive attack, using standout RB Luke Ash Luke Ash 5'9" | 170 lbs | RB Tualatin | 2023 State OR .
Brayde Owen Brayde Owen 6'1" | 195 lbs | ATH Gladstone | 2023 State OR 6-1 190 ATH 23’ Gladstone- Owen will run circles around everyone at the 4A level. He continues to prove himself on the 7v7 circuit and has the size and speed necessary to be a legit collegiate athlete.
Tyler King Tyler King 6'5" | 235 lbs | DL Clackamas | 2023 State OR 6-5 235 DE 23’ Clackamas- This will be one of the most interesting athletes to watch state wide next year. From a physicality standpoint he has all of the tools and should be listed among the top DEs in the entire region.
Mitchell George Mitchell George 5'11" | 185 lbs | DB Marshfield | 2023 State OR 5-11 190 WLB 23’ Marshfield- The 4A state champs graduate a super talented senior class, with George returning after absolutely dominating the competition. He had one of the most impressive stat lines in Oregon, making 106 total tackles (54 solo), with 4.5 sacks, 8 hurries, and 23.5 tackles for loss.
Nick Sakys Nick Sakys 6'2" | 205 lbs | QB West Linn | 2024 State OR 6-2 205 QB 24’ West Linn- Whoever is running the show at West Linn will have more targets than they know what to do with. Sakys has legit size and was incredibly impressive as a Sophomore, hitting on 68% of his passes (32/47) with 5 TDs/3 INTs in limited time.
Gabe Staszak Gabe Staszak 6'6" | 270 lbs | OL South Medford | 2024 State OR 6-5 210 DE South Medford- As noted numerous times already there is a lot yet to be determined but Staszak is an appealing recruit at 6-5. He had an outstanding sophomore year, making 41 total tackles, with 7 tackles for loss, and 4 sacks.
