1. Jaden Platt Jaden Platt 6'4" | 235 lbs | TE Eaton | 2023 State TX – Eaton High School (Haslet, TX)
2021 Season: 31 receptions, 623 receiving yards, 5 receiving touchdowns
Not only does Platt have the physicality and the hands of a great tight end but he also has excellent speed. He is a tight end to go to for first downs and touchdowns and that is what his tape shows. He can easily move down the field very quickly and is tough to take down. He is especially dangerous on post routes. Colleges have also taken notice of his potential and he committed to Stanford back in December. He also received offers from Arkansas, Baylor, Colorado, and Florida State just to name a few.
2. Lafayette Kaiuway Lafayette Kaiuway 6'4" | 235 lbs | TE Sam Houston | 2023 State TX – Sam Houston High School (Arlington, TX)
2021 Season: 27 receptions, 403 receiving yards, 9 receiving touchdowns
Kaiuway knows how to make difficult catches in traffic. So much so, he does it often on touchdown plays in the corner of the endzone. These plays only speak to his physical abilities and catching skills. However, his tape also shows his quick speed, agility, and route-running skills on top of that. He, too, is an excellent tight end with a lot of potential that has been noticed by several colleges across the country. He has received offers from Baylor, TCU, Texas, Boston College, and Florida State to start off.
