C/O 2025 Houston Area Watchlist
This offseason, the athletes of 2025 will go from the new fish on campus to contributors for their programs. In this article, we will take our first look at some 2025s to add to your watchlist.
QB Quinten Foster | 5’11 180lbs | Spring
An up-and-coming dual threat in the Houston Area is Spring’s Quinten Foster. With a quick release, crisp footwork, and athleticism that is simply a lot to handle, Foster has all the tools you need in a QB. Foster is extremely agile, difficult to bring down, and has the straight-line speed to pull away from the defense. He moves very well outside the pocket, keeps his eyes downfield, and has a strong arm that is precise. Foster’s stock is skyrocketing after a stellar freshman season and already has D1 attention with an offer from Georgia Tech.
DT Josiah Pratt | 6’0 290lbs | Heights
If you are in the market for a 2 gap filler, then Josiah Pratt is a prospect to keep your eyes on. Pratt has a good get-off that he uses to gain the power to deliver that ‘pop’ on the linemen. He uses his power to consistently drive back linemen and bring down ball carriers behind the line. Pratt moves around well for an interior guy and even was able to pick off a RB screen. As Pratt gets more technical, he will continue to wreak havoc in the trenches. He has the potential to be one of the most dominant nose tackles in the city.
QB Bryson Broadway Bryson Broadway 5'9" | 155 lbs | QB Magnolia West | 2025 TX | 5’9 155lbs | Magnolia West
As a freshman in 2021, Bryson Broadway Bryson Broadway 5'9" | 155 lbs | QB Magnolia West | 2025 TX displayed poise and arm talent all season long. Broadway has an aesthetically pleasing and quick release that he creates velocity off of. Broadway overall has good arm strength, accuracy, and has the tools you like to see. His ability to throw on the move is another noteworthy trait from the mechanically inclined ’25 QB. There is a bright future ahead for the Mustang gunslinger.
QB Kingston Cramer Kingston Cramer 6'3" | 185 lbs | QB Clear Falls | 2025 State TX | 6’3 180lbs | Clear Brook
Both size and athletic profile were major assets to dual-threat QB Kingston Cramer Kingston Cramer 6'3" | 185 lbs | QB Clear Falls | 2025 State TX ‘s successful freshman campaign. Cramer throws with anticipation off his drops and does a nice job of fitting the ball in smaller windows. The arm will continue to develop as he gets older, but his running ability is already top-notch. Cramer is hard to bring down not just in the pocket, but when he tucks the ball and takes off. His speed and agility allow him to get out of situations that he turns into a positive play.
WR Ashton Jones Ashton Jones 6'4" | 185 lbs | WR Shadow Creek | 2025 State TX | 6’3 175lbs | Shadow Creek
Ashton Jones Ashton Jones 6'4" | 185 lbs | WR Shadow Creek | 2025 State TX has the ideal WR size and knows how to use it. His jump ball skills are second to none, he attacks the ball at its highest point and dominates smaller defenders. Jones fires off the ball and attacks DBs on every route. He does a crafty job of using speed and physicality to get open down the field. What really impresses my eye is when he threatens the defender vertically, drops his hips, then makes a clean break, and gets open on quick game routes. Overall, Jones has the size and skills to excel on the varsity level, and with further development, at the college level as well.
