Paul Davis Paul Davis 6'0" | 175 lbs | WR Hart County | 2023 State GA – Committed to Duke
We’ve written about Davis plenty of times in the past, and he proved last year as a juniorthat he’s one of the top overall playmakers in East Georgia. He’s a smooth route runner, and while he’s not considered a “burner” with his speed, he’s still fast enough to get past defenders and make plays down the field. He showed good body control and is able to bring the ball down in traffic. He shows strong, reliable hands, and was always there to play when the Hart County offense needed. He’s great after the catch and has put on plenty of muscle over the last few months. He can break tackles down the field and is a major target in the red-zone. With his junior season completed, Davis decided to end his recruitment and make his commitment to Duke.

Jayden Davis- Committed to Louisville
The 7A state champion defensive back out of Collins Hill had a breakout junior season for the Eagles, securing the back end and making consistent plays on the football all season. A long, versatile safety at 6-foot-2 175-pounds, Davis started to breakout right before the season and showed why in the fall. He’s instinctual in coverage, shows good ball skills, and has length that defensive back coaches covet. He’s rangy in coverage, knows how to come downhill against the run, and doesn’t mind contact. He reads the ball well in the air and covers a lot of ground sideline to sideline. There’s a lot to like about his game, and he was one of the top defenders on a loaded Collins Hill defense last fall. As a junior last fall, Davis made 65 tackles, three INTs, and broke up 8 passes as well. He decided to publicly commit to Louisville this week.

Martel Hight Jr. – Committed to Louisville
The 2023 playmaker from Rome is one of the top overall athletes in Northwest Georgia. The WR/DB is a multi-sport athlete and also stars on the basketball court for the Wolves in the off-season. The 6-foot-0 175-pounder earned his first few offers in the spring and added another one this week from Kentucky. As a junior last fall, Hight caught 62 passes for 1,069 yards and nine touchdowns. He’s a deep threat down the field with impressive ball skills and a knack for making plays. He’s great running in the open field but knows how to make a tough catch in traffic as well. He’s certainly a 2023 prospect who continues to see new offers come his way, but this week he decided to make an early commitment to Louisville.
