Continue ReadingProspects are emerging daily across Georgia, and we saw plenty of 2023 receivers add offers this past week. Here are a few 2023 wideouts who are seeing their recruitment take off…
Branden Strozier – St. Francis
A dynamic, two-way athlete out of Alpharetta, Strozier is one of the state’s hottest prospects right now. He’s quick, shifty, and dangerous with the ball in his hands. At 6-foot-2 175-pounds, Strozier is being primarily recruited to play defensive back at the next level, but he’ll likely continue to catch passes as a senior this fall as well. He plays in a smaller region, so Strozier is one who can dominate on both sides of the ball, as well as in the return game on special teams. He’s a big-play threat on offense, and his footwork and length make him an impressive cornerback prospect on defense. He’s one of the better athletes in the area and he’s earned recent offers from Florida, Iowa State, Central Florida, among others.

Nakai Poole – Norcross
A breakout receiver in Gwinnett County last season, Poole is a big-play wideout who really excels after the catch. He plays against tough defensive backs every week and Poole proved to be one of the best pass-catchers in the region, catching 40 passes for 703 yards and 11 touchdowns. He has a true nose for the end-zone and made a lot of defensive backs look silly down the field this year. He can stop on a dime, changes directions well, and can be deadly after the catch. He’s a long strider, a smooth runner, and can get behind the defense before they know it. He was a big-play waiting today and his stock is rising by the day. He recently earned a new offer from Mississippi State.

Jaden Gibson Jaden Gibson 6'2" | 175 lbs | WR Rabun County | 2023 State GA – WR – Rabun County
The state’s leading receiver from last year, Gibson dominated all season long for Rabun County and was a go-to weapon for QB Gunner Stockton Gunner Stockton 6'1" | 220 lbs | QB Rabun County | 2022 State GA all season. The 2023 wideout did it all this season, taking screen passes to the house and proving to be a down-field weapon as well. He’s great after the catch and wants to score every time he touches the ball. The junior caught 86 passes this season for 1,878 yards and 19 touchdowns. He averaged over 144 receiving yards per game, proving he was one of the more dominant pass-catchers across the state. He creates separation, shows great footwork, and showed that he has some of the best hands across the state. Still an under the radar prospect, Gibson earned a new offer this week from Gardner Webb.
Truly blessed to receive a offer from Gardner Webb University!⚪️🔴 @GWUFootball @CoachTreLamb9 @coachheavyd pic.twitter.com/92ZMOqEqq0

Mason Humphrey – Grayson
Another talented Grayson Ram, Humphrey is a quick, reliable pass catcher who can do a lot of damage coming across the field from the slot. He’s quick, can get open naturally, and does a nice job of picking up yards after the catch. He didn’t light up the stat sheet as he plays alongside so many other talented players on offense, but when he had the ball, it was easy to see his potential at the next level. Humphrey has good size at 6-foot-4 190-pounds and can be a weapon in jump-ball situations in the red zone. He plays the ball well in the air and will often come down with the grab. He earned a new offer from Akron.
Extremely Blessed and Honored to receive an offer from The University of Akron🤍 @Coach_TBell @Coach_FredM pic.twitter.com/f4b6CheEVQ
