We are going to take a look at several defensive backs today, that have the potential to have monster 2022 football seasons.
Aydan Easter Aydan Easter 6'1" | 175 lbs | DB Lake Hamilton | 2023 State AR -Defensive Back/Athlete-Lake Hamilton
Easter got the offseason off to an impressive start with his performance in Orlando last weekend. He does an impressive job of playing the football in the air. Easter does not mind getting physical with opposing wide receivers and he uses his hands well to jam at the line of scrimmage. Easter has the ability to be a lockdown cornerback and a player that opposing offenses attempt to avoid in 2022. Keep an eye on Easter this offseason he is off to a hot start this offseason.
Nick Bell Nick Bell 5'10" | 155 lbs | DB Bentonville West | 2023 State AR -Defensive Back-Bentonville West
The Bentonville West Wolverine had an impressive 2021 season and is setting the bar high for a strong 2022 season. Last season, Bell had 40 tackles, 14 passes defensed, and two interceptions. Bell has good speed, and the Bentonville West coaching staff is creative with where they align Bell on the field. He is a defensive back that is aggressive with opposing wide receivers. Bell is a player that is going to be on plenty of teams radar this season. He has the potential for a monster 2022 season.
Floyd Williams Floyd Williams 6'1" | 170 lbs | DB Gosnell | 2023 State AR -Defensive Back/Athlete-Gosnell
Williams is one of the most impressive athletes in the state of Arkansas. The young man plays a number of positions for Gosnell and his versatility is what stands out as we enter the 7-vs-7 season. Williams uses his speed well and it is extremely difficult for opposing wide receivers to create separation from him. He has the hands to pick off passes and he uses his experience on the offensive side of the ball to his advantage.
Camron Lytle Camron Lytle 5'10" | 170 lbs | DB Little Rock Hall | 2023 State AR -Defensive Back-Little Rock Hall
The Little Rock Hall defensive back plays with a chip on his shoulder. He is an aggressive defensive back with good hands. Lytle has the ability to pick off passes and take it back the other direction. He does not shy away from contact and will make a tackle in both the run and the passing game. Lytle is a prospect that has the potential to have a strong 2022 season. He was impressive during the 2021 season, and I expect him to build off of the strong from performances from last season.
Anton Pierce Anton Pierce 6'3" | 205 lbs | DB Little Rock Mills | 2023 State AR -Defensive Back-Little Rock Mills
One of the most physical defensive backs in the state is Anton Pierce Anton Pierce 6'3" | 205 lbs | DB Little Rock Mills | 2023 State AR . Pierce is already lighting up the 7-vs-7 circuit. He can separate the ball from the wide receiver as well as pick off the pass. Pierce is setting the bar high for an extremely, strong 2022 football season. College coaches are going to love that Pierce is an impact player on the defensive side of the ball. Pierce is another prospect that has the potential to play on Saturdays in the future.
