Brandon High – Grand Oaks
High is a physical back with very good size and possess excellent break away speed. His initial burst beyond the line of scrimmage is something special and he frequently leaves defenders in the dust. High shows the ability to make one move, change gears and take off. He is excellent in the secondary and does not allow a single tackler to bring him down. For his junior season, High ran for 968 yards and 14 touchdowns on 122 carries. He is a great talent to follow now.
Chase DeVaughn – Madison
DeVaughn is a shifty back who showed patience and nice footwork on his runs. He did a great job at waiting for his blocks to develop, and finding a crease to break through for a large gain. DeVaughn keeps a forward momentum when running to always get the extra yards as well. For the season, DeVaughn carried the ball 217 times for 1,613 yards and 14 touchdowns.
David Smith – Clear Falls
Smith showed incredible wiggle and elusiveness with the ball in his hands. We he got to the outside, defenders could not get a hold of him. Smith was lethal on zone runs and decisive on his cuts. He showed great balance and vision when choosing his lanes. Smith had a very good junior campaign, running for 1,572 yards and 18 touchdowns on 216 carries.
Parker Jenkins – Klein Forest
Jenkins proved to be a major threat not only in the run game, but as a receiver as well. He has strong hands and is a mismatch out of the slot. Jenkins acceleration and speed in the open field is top notch. He is unafraid to lower the shoulder as well and deliver the blow. Jenkins will be a top prospect heading into his senior year and expect him to ball out! He is an insane athlete who can change an outcome of a game with the ball in his possession.
