NextGen All-America Showcase camps have quickly become one of the nation’s most respected Middle School and High School Underclassmen Showcase Camps.
Here is a look at the Linebackers and Defensive Lineman in the classes of 2026 and 2027 that stood out to us.
Jake Kreul | Florida | Defensive Line | 2026
Has shined at every camp or event he’s been to this off-season. Fresh off the Under Armour Future’s Game, he’s explosive for his age. Tested well in the combine. After making easy work of the other 2026’s, he moved up and battled upper classmen when he got the chance. Tall and long for his age, yet still possessed the ability to get low and bend the corner. Explosive athlete that will bulk up over time.
Giovanni Pucillo | Florida | Linebacker | 2026
Athletic linebacker who allowed just two catches out of five reps. Quick and can come out of breaks. Defended the long ball’s well but got his eyes stuck looking at QB on short routes. Even so, he was always able to make some type of play on the ball. May play different position in high school. Laid out for the ball a lot. Great instincts.
Joaquim Banville | Florida | 2026
Giving up some decent size to some of the dynamic offensive players, Banville had a nice afternoon. Can run with backs out of the backfield and also cover guys in the slot. Needs to improve some overall quickness but found himself in the right spot more often, than not.
