The class of 2022 is one of the deepest in terms of talent that the state of Arkansas has seen in several years. We are going to take a look at a few more talented prospects in the state that have yet to sign a national letter of intent. Several of the names you may recognize, however a few of the names may have flown under the radar this season.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="75122" first="Walker" last="Catsavis"]-Athlete-Fort Smith Northside</strong>
Catsavis is one of the most talented prospects in the state of Arkansas in the class of 2022. During the course of his high school career, he has played both the quarterback and the wide receiver positions. From the wide receiver position, Catsavis is a playmaker and a tall red zone target at 6’4”. He has the height and athletic ability to terrorize opposing defensive backs. He does an excellent job of going up and high pointing the football. Scouts should take a long look at Catsavis he has the ability to be a force on Saturdays.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="92749" first="Arlie" last="Lee"]-Wide Receiver-Stuttgart</strong>
Stuttgart wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id="92749" first="Arlie" last="Lee"] was an impressive player to watch all four years of high school. Lee has the speed to cause opposing defensive secondaries plenty of problems. His 6’2” also makes him a consistent target in the red zone. Lee’s hands are solid, and he will not drop passes. The Stuttgart wide receiver has a knack for making the tough receptions look easy. He is another play that will have an impact on Saturdays in the future for the team that secures his commitment.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="131175" first="Darryl" last="Kattich"]-Running Back-Cedarville</strong>
One of the most productive running backs in the class of 2022. [player_tooltip player_id="131175" first="Darryl" last="Kattich"] has a great mix of power and speed in his running style. He is not afraid to run the opposing defender over. Meanwhile, he does not mind cutting his run to the outside and using his good speed to outrun the opposing defense. Kattich rushed for 2.125 yard and 19 touchdowns this season. Kattich is a running back that has the talent to play on Saturdays.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="135318" first="Quade" last="Curtis"]-Defensive Back-Bentonville West</strong>
[player_tooltip player_id="135318" first="Quade" last="Curtis"] had a strong season in the secondary for the Bentonville West Wolverines this season. He racked up 60 tackles and lived in the opponent’s backfield causing numerous tackles behind the line of scrimmage. Curtis does an impressive job in causing passing break ups as well. He has good speed and is always around the football and looking to make the tackle. Curtis has flown under the radar but is a solid player that has the potential and the talent to play on Saturdays.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="168984" first="Roderick" last="Watts"]-Wide Receiver-Maumelle</strong>
The Maumelle wide receiver has impressive athletic ability. He does an excellent job of out jumping opposing defensive backs for the football. Watts has the speed needed to create separation in the passing game and can be used to stretch the field vertically. He does a great job of knowing where he is on the football field. Watts is a wide receiver that has plenty of ability to make big plays in the passing game. Watts is another player on this list that has the talent to play on Saturdays in the future.
