Nearly 75 prospects from Texas and even a few out of state prospects worked out for a few hours at Nolan Catholic in Fort Worth. was the first wideout that really stuck out when we were watching the wide receiver group. He’s incredibly smooth in his running and his hands are outstanding. Pride was a prospect that impressed not only myself but several other scouts and coaches that were there on Sunday. During the 1 on 1 portion of the camp, Pride was making it look easy as he would torch DB after DB throughout the afternoon. He was one of the first prospects that really stood out while scouting the event and he didn’t disappoint throughout the afternoon.

was probably the most physically gifted wide receiver that was in attendance on Sunday. While he wasn’t the fastest wide receiver prospect, his combination of size and hands made him very tough to stop or even slow down when the receivers went up against the defensive backs. What stood out to me at first with Jones was his size, as he was one of the bigger wide receivers in attendance. And because of that, he was able to bully opposing defensive backs. And even though it was a non-padded camp, DB’s were intent on being physical throughout the afternoon but that didn’t matter when it came to slowing down the Sherman standout.

Might have saved the best for last with this one. It’s hard to find a prospect that had a better day than

, who traveled all the way from El Paso to absolutely dominate the camp in Fort Worth on Sunday. Bost was one of the best athletes during the testing portion, running one of the fastest 40 yard dash times that we saw. Then during the drill portion of the afternoon, Bost was the most consistent receiver that we saw on Sunday. He caught everything that was close to him and he used precise route running to get open. The combination of route running, reliable hands and speed makes Bost a name to watch in Texas.
