7A District 7 Quarterback Post Season Analysis

There are a lot of young talented prospects and several sleeper prospects that could start getting looks for the next level. He led the district and passing throwing for 2655 yards, completed 56% of his passes, 16 touchdowns and also rushed for 354 yards and nine touchdowns rushing. He’s a dual-threat quarterback that does a great job extending plays with his feet while keeping his eyes downfield, he’s very accurate on short-to-intermediate routes and reads the field very well. He has a strong enough arm to make all the throws, and also shows touch on fades and deep balls. He’s an outstanding student with a 3.92 GPA. </div> </div> <div id="contentsContainer" class="style-scope qowt-page"> <div id="contents" class="style-scope qowt-page"> Film: <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/10968547/CJ-Simms">https://www.hudl.com/profile/10968547/CJ-Simms</a>   [player_tooltip player_id="128352" first="Hunter" last="Turner"]- Melbourne High c/o 23 5’11 170lbs Turner was very impressive this season, the Junior guided Melbourne High to a 10-3 record and was second in the district and passing throwing for 2590 yards, 25 touchdowns and completed 59% of his passes. He also rushed for 278 yards and seven touchdowns. Smart quarterback that has a very quick release, Reads coverages quickly and gets rid of the ball, shows the ability to improvise and make plays when his protection breaks down. Versatile quarterback that can make you pay with his feet, can beat you in multiple ways. He’s an outstanding student with a 3.5 GPA, coaches need to check him out. </div> </div> <div id="contentsContainer" class="style-scope qowt-page"> <div id="contents" class="style-scope qowt-page"> Film: <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/7809930/Hunter-Turner">https://www.hudl.com/profile/7809930/Hunter-Turner</a>   Nick Miner- East River High c/o 23 6’1 200lbs Miner is a dual-threat prospect out of East River high in Orlando, in six games this season he passed for 783 yards, completed 50% of his passes and threw five touchdowns. He rushed for 468 yards and eight touchdowns on the ground. Does a lot of damage running the ball, shows good vision, power (405lb squat) and consistently gets up field for positive yards, tough quarterback that’ll take a hit and deliver the football, very accurate throwing on the run. Very good student with a 3.4 GPA </div> Film: <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/6576610/Nick-Miner">https://www.hudl.com/profile/6576610/Nick-Miner</a> <div id="contents" class="style-scope qowt-page">   Logan King- St. Cloud High c/o 25 Height/Weight- NA King is a freshman prospect that looked to have really taken off after the 3rd game and had a solid second half of the season for St. Cloud High. He passed for 753 yards, completed 55% of his passes and threw three touchdowns. There’s not a lot of film on him, but shows good poise staying in the pocket, has a compact delivery and distributes the ball to the open man.
